Hotel Preciados is housed in a 19th century building, completely restored in 2002 and situated between the Gran Vía and Puerta del Sol, in the cultural, commercial and business heart of Madrid.

This design and gay friendly hotel is also close to the main monuments and sights such as the Royal Palace, the Royal Theater, Almudena Cathedral, Prado Museum and Plaza Mayor.

On-site amenities include an Internet Point, a restaurant, a meeting room and a business centre.
LOCATION

Located in the heart of Madrid, Hotel Preciados is in the Austrias historical and touristic centre as well as between Gran Via and Puerta del Sol.

"Wonderful Place to stay in Madrid"
We booked this hotel due to its central location and Trip Advisor ratings and weren't disappointed. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and we ate a nice dinner one night in their restaurant when we were too tired to go back out. The bathroom was huge and the price was reasonable--nice contrasts with Barcelona. The room itself was adequate. There are lots of great restaurants and tapas bars in Madrid but be sure to try La Casa del Abuelo (Near Puerto del Sol) for shrimp with garlic.

"Great hotel"
The Preciados is in an excellent location, close to Grand Via, but in a quiet side-street. Rooms were also soundproofed. Immaculately clean, pleasant staff, not the biggest room in the world, but perfectly sufficient for a short stay in Madrid. Free mini-bar is a bonus.

"Amazing hotel, perfect location."
Location: Perfect, right in the middle of the action. Safe & friendly. Room: We stayed in a double. Huge sized room. Cleanliness was very good. Bathroom was enormous. Bed was good. Trendy yet understated decor. Service: The staff were helpful, no problems. Value: Good value, perhaps slightly over priced, but we'll be staying there again. Breakfast not included, perfect place for to enjoy Madrid.
