"what a nice suprise"
Well here we go.We booked on the internet and after reading reviews i was a bit worried.Well let me tell you the time we had was fantastic the hotel was clean rooms were basic but who stays in there long. The food was good there was plenty of choice meat, fish, pasta, veg, soup etc there was always something you could eat.it wasnt gordon ramsey food but this is a 3star hotel. The entertainment during the day was second to none volleyball, football, table tennis, water polo which was good fun.The pool was cleaned every morning and there wasnt a problem like i read in other reports. The place itself was fantastic the beach is beautiful and only 2 minutes away there was shops pubs and restauraunts and i wasnt bored at anytime. We did see people that wasnt happy there was one woman that never ever stoped complaining i heard her say she had to buy water and crisps on a night oh the poor woman i think she probably made her holiday worse by whinging all the time. Then there was people saying it was noisy at 11.30 pm these were older people and i must admit it didnt seem to be a hotel for the older person but for a family hotel this i thnk is fantastic value for money. The entertainment on a night sometimes did get a bit boreing but some times it was excellent.the only thing i would suggest is not to get the shuttle from the airport we waited an hour to get going then it took an hour and a half to get there there was 5 of us and you could get a taxi for 41 euros which was cheaper then the shuttle worked out. but all in all i thought it was a brilliant holiday i think i will be returning next year.10 out of 10 for the holiday on a whole

"Good Value"
My husband and I visited this hotel (second year running). We booked there again because we found it was the kind of hotel where you could just chill if you wanted but could also join in as well. Because we had been before we went with the intention of having an easy time, with food and drink on tap! (Literally) The hotel is lovely and clean, rooms cleaned every day. Food, although not cordon bleu (but you get what you pay for), was good with plenty of choice at each meal. Help yourself to red, white or rose wine, beer, soft drinks with lunch and dinner. The bar service was good with a smooth running queuing system. The entertainment was fine. We ate late and watched the evening show round the pool. The area around was lively and safe and you could literally shop till you dropped! I got some good perfume bargains and the clothes are cheap too. Overall a very good holiday.

"Well, we had a great time ...!"
Like others I'd read reviews on this and other websites and was absolutely dreading what kind of holiday we'd have. Well it certainly wasn't perfect but we really did have a great time. I too was led to believe we could upgrade to air conditioning but this wasn't the case cause the hotel was full. However, the fan we hired proved to be perfectly adequate and enabled us to sleep well enough. Another socket in the room would indeed have been helpful but having read about this on previous posts I took a double adaptor with me and that did the trick. The maids came every day and a did an ok job - some strange things like bags put on the balcony so floor could be cleaned and then left out there and beds occasionally not made particularly well but nothing we couldn't cope with. The absolutely worse thing about the holiday was the noise made by other inconsiderate guests very late at night and early in the morning. Although there was no noise from adjoining rooms, the noise from the corridor was awful - doors slamming and children being allowed to race up and down the corridor, shouting and banging on doors was a daily occurance and inevitably ensured I was awake bright and early every morning! Some of the food was a bit touch and go but there certainly was a wide enough variety to find something to eat every night - pork was indeed a favourite with the chef but there was also beef, chicken and plenty of fish dishes as well as pasta and a wide range of salads always available. Their idea of "typical English food" is probably best avoided - ie the chicken nuggets, bacon etc were a bit dodgy. Spanish and German dishes were also available regularly and some of these proved interesting. My one real complaint about the restaurant was the dirty glasses and plates - gave up trying to find a clean glass most mealtimes and drank out of plastic cups! The pool was great - the kids couldn't be dragged away most days and the life-guard was very efficient. Definitely not enough umbrellas though and the usual problem of all the sunbeds being reserved with towels by 6am but I find it's like this everywhere we go. The beach is nearby and beautiful if you can get the kids out of the pool long enough. The daytime entertainment provided was superb - Laura and Louise in the mini-club were very child friendly and Cazz coped supremely well with the unruley maxis. I didn't personally join in the with adult activities but they were there with Tim and Angelo if you were so inclined. The mini-disco was much enjoyed by my 7 year old and although the typical hotel evening entertainment was not really my thing, it was better than some I've seen - "Grease!" was particularly amusing. The bar staff worked supremely hard as there was a constant queue and even though the signs say "2 drinks per person only" I was able to have additional non-alcoholic drinks. In fact I found all the staff very friendly and helpful and also polite to the children when they were asking for things by themselves which is not always the case unfortunately. All in all a good 3-Star hotel, well-positioned for the shops and the beach with ample facilities. If you want 5-Star, you have to pay for 5-Star. This did "what it said on the tin" and was a bargain.
