There is only 1 word ;AWESOM, if you are not appreciative of the overall package then I suggest you are not in the REAL WORLD OR JUST A PERMANENT COMPLAINER.

Rating

"Great Hotel"
We stayed in the older part of the hotel which has been completely renovated. It is in a building just to the left of the main hotel. Beautiful outside and inside. Our room was spacious, very well appointed, air conditioned and had a balcony with a great view of Lake Lucerne. It is across the street from the lake, but no buildings impede the view. The bathroom was gorgeous and very modern and the linens were first rate. The hotel had turn down service, complete with chocolates on the pillow. The staff was first rate and spoke fairly good English, which was a bonus. They have two options for restaurants, both excellent. Also a nice lounge where we watched some of the World Cup. Breakfast is included and was very good. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Europe and easily deserved its four star rating, even by American standards. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a high quality hotel at a fairly reasonable rate. Be sure to ask for a room in the renovated part of the hotel, there is a world of difference between these room s and the others.

"Wonderful hotel for a honeymoon"
We have just returned from our honeymoon staying 5 nights at the Hotel Seeburg. We can honestly say that we had the most wonderful time in this hotel. We had a double room on the 5th floor in the new building. The room was spacious, with all amenities and a lovely bathroom with a seperate toilet. The room had views overlooking Mount Pilatus and the lake, simply stunning. As we arrived on the 30th December the hotel was lit up beautifully with Christmas lights and very tasteful decorations - not to be missed! Even our balcony had a Christmas Tree with fairy lights! The food was excellent in both restaurants and there was even outside eating arrangements complete with patio heaters, hot water bottles and blankets! If you desired to eat under the stars! The seeburg restaurant was our favourite (the Alexander is beautiful and is now non smoking). The service in the hotel was second to non with very good english speaking staff. We stayed over new year and had an excellent 5 couse dinner followed by fire works in the grounds of the hotel and this continued over the lake. Breakfast was also excellent. Lucerene town is 10 minutes away by taxi or bus and a 45 minute walk around the lake - Simply stunning views all round. We would highly recommend a stay in this hotel.
