"Lovely" Honeymoon in Paris and the hotel staff was very nice. Small room, but clean. Breakfast in the "grotto" was great. Will stay there again.

"Charming Tronchet" Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights 9 - 11 Sept 06. Like other reviewers have said this Hotel is a small boutique like hotel, however unlike other reviewers I loved it. The location is perfect, 100mts to Galleries Lafeyette, 100mts to Madeleine & approx 10 minute walk to Place de la concorde. 2 minute walk in either direction takes you to a Hop on Hop off bus stop. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast included in the price. The breakfast room is small but quaint and the fare was wonderful. Hotel Tronchet takes continental breakfast to another level. We were able to feast on Fruit compote with the biggest juiciest prunes I have ever seen, choice of cereal, choice of juice, croisants, pastries, rolls, cold meats & cheeses and wonderful hot bottomless coffee. As we only had 2 nights here I cannot comment on whether the sheets were changed regularly as I didn't expect them to be for our stay, and yes although the decor is quaint probably hasn't been changed for a number of years but all the good things certainly outweighted the bad. I would stay here again in a heartbeat as the staff were friendly and the location is just perfect.

"Ideal Location" My husband & I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. Smallish room but clean.We had a street view from our windows.Good bathroom facility. Breakfast very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location for the metro, getting on the hop on hop off buses, shopping,cafes,easy walking distances to various sites We would stay there again. L & W West Australia
