"Modern, clean, great location!"
Hotel was very modern and clean, bathrooms were very nice too. The best part was location. It was very centrally located by the Puerta del Sol, and we were easily able to walk to all points of interest -- didn't have to use the metro at all (although there was a stop less than a block away). Our room had a little balcony with a view of the block, and even though people are on the block until very early am, the windows block out the noise. Front desk was very helpful in looking up certain streets on the internet that were not visible on the map (tip: you can get much better, more detailed map if you go into a more upscale hotel and ask the front desk). Breakfast was pretty good, but standard. Meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee/juice. Be prepared to eat a lot of ham (it comes on everything). Only slight minus was that the only english tv channels was bbc and a travel channel. Recommend a day trip to Toledo if you have time bc it was beautiful. We took a guided tour and were glad, bc the streets are very narrow and hilly and it seemed like it would be hard to navigate on your own.

"Great hotel"
I stayed at Victoria 4 with a friend at the end of September. We got a great deal with last minute.com and I chose the hotel based on reviews I read at trip advisor. I wasn't disappointed!! The hotel was really central. The rooms were great - comfortable beds, biggish rooms, a small balcony, double glazing (great to keep the niose out) and a huge modern bathroom!! Staff were great. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!
