"Lovely boutique hotel" We just returned from an eight-day stay at the Waldorf Madeleine and enjoyed every moment of it. The staff was lovely and very accomodating. The room was very clean and cheerful. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the quantity and quality was excellent. The location is wonderful near all the major attractions including the Louvre, Opera Garnier, Champs Elysees, and many fine restaurants. I will definitely return to this splendid hotel and hope it is very soon. My Paris visit was very memorable and I thank the Waldorf Madeleine Hotel for making it so.

"great hotel great location" It was my first time to Paris and the staff were so helpful. It was a great clean little hotel that is set in a great location making it easy to get to the main attractions.

"Lovely Hotel close to Museums" Chose this hotel from list of hotels on American Airlines Vacations. Priority for our trip was access to the museums and main sites. Rooms have been criticized as being small and they are by US standards (where bathrooms are bigger than my first condo). The Hotel has been recently renovated and the staff was very cordial and efficient. The hotel is located just north of the Place de Concorde between the Place de Madeleine and St Augustin Cathedral. Easy access (10 min walk) to train station at Gare St Lazare. Louvre and Musee D'Orsay about a 20 - 30 min walk. Easy access to Metro line and the rest of the city. Plenty of nice shops and restaurants in immediate vicinity. Recommend package that includes the breakfast available each morning.

"Cheers to the Waldorf Madeleine!" First time visit to Paris. The Waldorf Madeleine was just PERFECT. Not too small, not too big. Most importantly not too expensive (got a great holiday rate). The staff was friendly and courteous even after I tried a bit of my highschool french (most everyone there speaks English). The location was great with lots of sights/fabulous shopping all within walking distance. The metro is only 2 blocks away. I especially liked the small touches in the rooms - the robe, bath salts, etc. The breakfast was ample and tasty. We got a great recommendation for dinner from the front desk as well. All in all if you're looking for a comfortable, moderately inexpensive hotel in this fabulous part of Paris, look no further! Really, I've read tons of these reviews and I wanted to share my great "first time in Paris" experience.

"Great location/great staff" We just spent a 7 day stay at the hotel and were well satisfied. Rooms are more than acceptable, nice WC's, and plenty big enough rooms. Staff was totally pleasant and we had many happy interactions with them. Rec'd email help before we left USA which was a nice touch. We would stay there again based on location alone. Breakfast was included in our trip plan and more than expected - a great start to the day. Monoprix store 2 blocks away for any essentials needed. We loved our stay in Paris, in part due to the stay at the Hotel Waldorf Madeleine!
