"Wonderful Hotel"
This hotel was a great find thanks to tripadvisor. There is nothing I could fault about it.
It was easy to find, we took a bus then train from the airport for £1.25 for both of us, then we followed the directions left by another reviewer and found the Yasmin with ease.
On arrival we received a free upgrade as the hotel was fully booked? I didn't ask just gratefully accepted.
The rooms are immaculate, the ensuite spotless, a great little minibar and reasonably priced room service menu.
The breakfasts would appeal to everyone, there's a choice of cereal, fruit, cooked breakfast, juices, teas and coffees and an assortment of pastries!! and in the evenings the bar stays open till 11 with a pint for £1 and cocktails for £2.50.
All the sights were a walkable distance, five minutes to the Old Town Square, ten to the Charles Bridge and from there another fifteen to the Castle.
Again a great find, one I would recommend to anyone staying in Prague, and I will definately be back.

"Fantastic Hotel"
I stayed at this hotel over Easter for 2 nights from 6-8 April.
Although in the New Town and off Wenceslas Square, it is away from all the noise and busyness of the square. You are able to walk to all locations and the Old Town is a 15 minute walk away.
Room was fantastic even though there was no view to speak of (I faced the road); breakfast was great also.
I would definitely stay here again should I visit Prague and would recommend it to anyone I knew who was visiting.

"Great Location, Nice Place!"
Wonderful hotel - clean, sleek, and fun. Very comfortable bed! The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. One suggestion would be to ask for a room either higher up in the building or NOT on the street-side. The cars driving by woke me up in the morning, but not too early. We were on the 2nd level and right above the street.

"Loved this place!"
We booked hotel Yasimn thanks to tripadvisor reviews. We loved it. Hotel is new and modern, however it is set in old building with high ceilings and huge old windows – modern comfort with old charm – perfect combination. We booked suite – it was spacious and clean with relaxing colors. Location is great, we walked to all the sites in Prague, never used any transportation while sightseeing. Breakfast was really good! I did read in other reviews that breakfast is great, but still was surprised with variety. We ordered dinner one night from hotel restaurant; it was very good and reasonably priced.
Excellent choice, would not stay in any other place.

"Fantastic!"
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the beggining of December, and it was wonderful! There shouldnt be a doubt in your mind when you book it cos you'll love Prague and the Yasmin hotel.
Rooms were big, bathroom was super clean and staff are very friendly. The breakfasts are fantastic, a great way to start the day. Its got an excellent location, the only time we used a taxi or any transport was to and from the airport. The rest of the time we walked everywhere (comfortable shoes very important!) including to the castle. Walking is the best way to get around Prague.
Book this hotel, it won't dissapoint!

"A pleasant Stay"
Have just returned from a 4 day trip to Prague. This was our first trip and although I had researched, it never prepares you for the real thing. I booked accommodation for 4 adults at the Hotel Yasmin, close to Wenceslas Square. On arrival, we were greeted very courteously by a member of the reception staff. However, it transpired that although the booking had been made well in advance, they did not have accommodation for our first night. Our hearts sank as you can imagine but the situation was soon rectified as it was explained that an alternative hotel had been booked for the first night, a taxi paid by the hotel would be organised to transfer us both ways and complimentary drinks whilst we waited for the taxi.
The hotel we were transferred to was excellent and it also gave us chance to investigate the other side of the Charles Bridge.
When we returned to the Yasmin, we wondered whether we would be disappointed as the temporary hotel had been so good but we were not. The Yasmin lived up to our expectations. I think we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite due to the inconvenience but the Hotel was spotless everywhere. The breakfasts were excellent and we used the Noodles Restaurant for lunch and dinner. The quality of the food and value for money was excellent. It was a very modern hotel with futuristic decor. The one thing that intrigued us was these great big orange furry things that adorned the lounging and restaurant areas and reminded us very much of the day of the triffids!
Prague did seem to close down early as far as bars were concerned but this was a minor point.
We would certainly recommend the Yasmin and would love to return - maybe when the weather is slightly warmer!

"Clean, modern, convenient, comfortable"
This hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was diverse and really good. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were spacious and functional. The taxi hire for the hotel is overpriced. Close to the Muzeum and Muztek metro stations. Easily programmable room safes to guard any valuables. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. My stay was very pleasant and if I ever go back to Prague I would love to stay in this place again.

"A surrealistic hotel"
My housband and I, just came back from the world cup in Germany, and since we've heard so much about Prague, we decided to visit the city. Our stay at the Yazmin was one of the best ever! It is a very modern, surreal and brand new hotel, located about three blocks from a main street, so you're close but not too close. It is in a very quiet street and near of some restaurants and bars that are mostly visited by locals, with good food and reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is great and service is too. The rooms are impecable, very spacious, well furnished and the bathroom is big! You have to be there to see the decoration of the hotel, so modern and sleek. We absolutly would like to come back some day.

"hug in a mug!"
stayed 4 nights from 10th july got extremley quiet room whiich was squeaky clean, bathroom was spotless every day no view but i didnt go to prague to stare out of the window!
staff were helpful and with very few exeptions spoke good english (good job!)
breakfast was varied with continental and english options, buffet style with lots of fruit
the noodles restaurant was good in the evening although i only used it once because it has a lot of competition in prague.
very modern place, extremley clean quiet , yet seconds away from wencelous square.
watch out for the red things in the dining area, they add colour which reflects in the mirrors and lights ,very novel and i dont think they bite!
i would definatley recommend hotel yasmin for a stay in prague.
ps. do not confuse this hotel with yasmin hotel

"The whole party loved it"
Hotel Yasmin, (not to be confused with the Jasmin Hotel) just off Wenceslas square in Prague centre.
Ideal location, off the noisier main streets and squares but within minutes walk of all the attractions.
A very modernistic fit out of a more traditional style of building with some fantastic features. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms are excellent, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and breakfasts are tremendous, plus food and drink for a top class hotel is very cheap.
There were three couples in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in this beautiful city, and would not hesitate to book the same accommodation again.
Get a day pass for the trams (costs about 80p) and jump on and off as you fancy, for a quick refresher you know, like you do, and have a wander, see some sights etc.
Check out the bar/ restaurant directly over the road from the hotel entrance, it doesn't look much from the outside, but inside the beer, food and atmosphere is really great.
Roll on next year.

"Please Visit Yasmin"
i visited the hotel yasmin with my boyfriend mid april and i am surprised to see somebody complaining about it. i booked it as a 21st birthday present for my partner and it was cheap at £235 for 3nights bed and breakfast. well i thought that was cheap considering it was a 4/5 star hotel on websites. the design of the hotel is amazing, it is extremely clean, and the staff were so helpful and spoke excellent english. the rooms were complete with mini-bar, flat screen tv, lovely fluffy towels and slippers! the bathroom had sleek black tiles and mirrors all around. i just cant even begin to describe the lobby and restaurant area as it was just out of this world, well to us it was anyway. breakfast did finish at 10.30 but if you get down there ar 9.45ish there is still plenty of food, everything you could want for your breakfast. it might say continental on some websites but there is bacon, egg, sausages and hash browns. i think thats a little more than continental. the only thing i could fault about this hotel is i had to really pick, was that we couldnt really work out the heating/air conditioning. but even that didnt really bother us. i would certainly visit Prague again and this hotel. even in the hotel, the drinks were realtively cheap which you dont usually find.
if you need transport from the hotel, dont hesitate to use the airport taxi firm, it is all good and is not expensive at all. it cost us £15 to our hotel. when going home, we used the hotels taxis and that cost about £23. there is just so much to see and do, just make sure you take a guide book. i forgot mine and so we were looking at things and not knowing what they were for! there isnt many shops that sell tour books.
the final thing i would say is, if your cosidering this hotel, go for it. i went about a month after it had just open and i was expecting unfinished rooms etc. but there was none of that, it was perfect for us.

"Great hotel & value for money"
At 150 euros a night for a double with breakfast this hotel was a real find. Wonderful design, large rooms & well appointed bathrooms would return,
Breakfast really does finish within seconds of 10.30 so dont be fooled when they say breakfast is until 10.30 !! The Spanish would not approve. They struggled to cope with keeping on top of breakfast frequently running out of the simple stuff like bread !! But it is a good spread with many cooked items.
Took airport car to hotel 700 ie £17.50 & hotel taxi back at 800 ie £20, dont know how much ordinary taxis are but why spoil a nice expereince for sake of a pound or two.
However if i went again i would stay away from Wenecelas Sq, its become quite tacky & spoilt by English ( & others ) stag do,s & endless touts.
