"Good Choice for Families"
We stayed at HoJo from 8/6 thru 8/11 and were on the 7th floor of the building facing the DLR in a Suite with King Bed. Though the suite seems pricey it really isn't if you compare it to the DL hotels where you have a basic hotel room for the same price. Our room had a separate bedroom with large closet, TV, King Bed, nice dresser, vaulted ceiling, and small patio (could see fireworks from there). The Living Area had a TV, another small patio, couch that made into bed. It also had a dining area with table, mini frig and microwave and a large counter. I loved that they left 2 bottled waters for us each day, along with trail mix bags! The bathroom was large with double sinks and drawers and cabinets to place things. Personally, ...I liked all the space as it made it real relaxing when we came back. Most mornings we had breakfast in the room. The gift store downstairs has food items - bread, lunchmeat, cheese, milk, and small cereal boxes which were great for us. The gift store was always open when I went by. Our 7 year old son LOVED the pool and also the arcade room. Although we could take a shuttle to DLR we often just walked when we didn't want to wait and this was another great benefit. Our only complaint was with Mimi's restaurant which is next door but not connected - when we ordered take-out, -but not HoJo's problem. Would definitely do HoJo's again on another visit.

"Perfect"
you are looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced alternative to the big resort hotels, this is it. We arrived early and parked our car at the hotel, spent the morning at Disneyland, and returned at 3PM to check in, cool off at the pool and rest before returning to California Adventure. The main pool area is resort quality, and perfect for families. There is a shallow beach type pool with water fountain play for very small children. The lounge chairs are attractive and comfortable. Rooms are simple, but spacious, clean and comfortable. Mini refrigerator and coffee pot are nice for families. Our room in building one (sixth floor) had a great view of the fireworks from the balcony. The gift shop is stocked with everything from morning cereal for the kids to blister packs for adults with sore feet. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The shuttle takes a few minutes longer than I would have liked for pick up, but it was worth saving our tired dogs for walking in the parks. This place was a real find.

"A Wonderful Stay!"
Stayed two nights during our annual visit to DL and loved it. Knowing we would spend most of the days at DL, we just wanted a clean, inexpensive room to sleep and rest and this hotel did just that. We had a large room (2 queen beds) on the top floor of building #1 and enjoyed the nightly DL firewoks from our bed. It was an easy 10 minute walk with a stroller (and we were not going fast at all). On the way, there are lots of restaurants to choose from - Mimi's had a lot of choices and directly across the street from the hotel. Local restaurants even delivered directly to your room and you can eat by the pool - a perfect way to end a tiring day spent at DL. The pool was fine and especially loved the children's wading pool and sprinklers for my 3 year old. The hotel store indeed has everything you can possibly want. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay and well worth the money. Will definitely come back here again and would recommend it.
