"Big bed off-centre but near the beach"
Although this hotel is not in the centre of Barcelona (you will need the metro to get anywhere) I quite liked it. It's new and had a relatively Big bed (very important!) and it's a 3 minute walk from the beach. The neighbourhood is mostly residential but is being developed as an area ofr expositions and fairs etc. It does not have the charm of down town Barna but offers good value through its facilities and the nearby beach.

"Very clean, functional and comfortable."
The hotel is very nice.
But what more do you need on city break? Yes, it's a little way out of town, but the 20 minute walk to the marina along the beach is so nice we did it every night. The metro is 3 blocks away and so easy to use you really don't feel too far out of town. Because of it's location the hotel is quiet and relaxing at night.
The hotel restaurant has no atmosphere whatsoever so definitely head into town for food, but the bar is tended by whoever's behind reception and we got free drinks on more than one occasion because the staff are so easy-going. The rooftop pool is lovely, if a little cool; and the view from there is great at night. We'd use it again for sure. A great base for a relaxing weekend away.

"About Mar Husa"
Clean hotel with great location. My wife and I stayed there for 9 days in August and we were very satisfied.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bus and metro lines are very close, and the beach was within walking distance.
We would stay again.
