Had no problems with this hotel at all" When I first booked this hotel I was dreading arriving after reading the previous results. I don't know where these people were staying who said it was basic, the t.v. didn't work, the shower was broke. People made it sound like a run down hotel. I had no problems whatsoever. The rooms were clean, had plenty of storage, the t.v. and shower worked. The towels were changed each day and your bed was made. The room was a standard hotel room, if you want more than a 3* then pay for a 5*. The location was great, in the heart of everything. If you wish to stay on the main street there is bound to be some degree of noise, but in my opinion it was not an issue. All the employees spoke English, were helpful and polite.

"Perfectly acceptable" I agree with the last reviewer - and not with the majority of others. The hotel is absolutely fine as a 3*. Clean, well designed rooms (albeit a bit small - but not surprising for the location), comfortable beds, hot shower, stylish furniture and brilliant location. Don't worry about the noise from La Rambla as the double glazing is very effective. Very helpful reception staff who all spoke English to a certain degree and a restaurant and bar in-house. Would not hesitate to stay here again when in Barcelona.

"No problems, great location." Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 friends. We had a triple room, consisting of two singles and a sofa bed. This wasnt a problem for us as we were only there for the weekend. The room was large, with ample space and was clean. as was the bathroom. Free safe too! The room was serviced each day which i cant say about a lot of hotels in europe! Our room was located on the 4th floor facing out onto the ramblas, If you intednt to spend a lot of time in the room or have early nights then this may not be the best location for you as the noise was fairly bad and was evident all through the night. But if you want to be in the centre of everything then it doesnt get much better. Never had any problems, with staff or lifts etc. I would stay here again.
