"Hyatt Regency Century Plaza is magnificent "
Hyatt Regency Century Plaza is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go anywhere in LA at all. In fact we didn't bother looking for anything else to do .
The Spa is out of this world. Not for under 16 really but they were quite happy for my daughter to have some treatments. Expensive but fabulousWe stayed on the 17 floor with a beautiful viem of the city and pool area. |

"A Pleasant LA Hyatt Experience"
The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (Formerly known as the Westin Century Plaza Hotel) is located in Century City, just minutes from Beverly Hills.
The hotel is currently undergoing a 22 million dollar renovation, which includes guest rooms, common areas as well as the Equinox Gym which will soon be available to guests. The room renovation is already complete, and quite impressive. For a hotel which was built in the '60's, Hyatt has done a great job adapting the rooms with a contemporary motif.
Guest Rooms are average in size, but do not at all feel cramped in any way. Bed comfort is wonderful, featuring Hyatt's new "Grand" guest bed experience. Plushtop mattresses, nice linens and a comfortable down comforter all make for a pleasant nights sleep. Rooms include large LCD Flat Screen televisions, along with well designed hip furnishings. Bathrooms are also nicely done with a basic tub/shower combination. West facing rooms tend to be a little quieter, as they are removed from the main street.
We were quite impressed with the dining selections, and food quality was typically Hyatt- terrific. Service throughout the hotel was very pleasant.
Whether you are looking to tour Los Angeles, or work, I think you will find this location to be ideal. From a tourist’s perspective, it is just minutes from Beverly Hills and Hollywood, yet away from the sometimes annoying hustle bustle. The immediate surrounding area includes an upscale mall (Century City Mall) and several office buildings.
Once the renovation is complete, I think the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza will be a wonderful LA choice, as it is convenient, quiet and well priced.

"Very Kind Restaurant manager in Breeze from Ireland or Scotland"
We had an excellent time here at the new Century Plaza Hotel, which is now run by the Hyatt Company - what a change in Service, as we have come here every December from France for a week to do Shopping for Christmas in this area.
We ate at Breeze each morning and got to know all the staff in Breeze, after a few days the managers got to know us -+I forget hi name + From Ireland, he had a lot of laughs each morning and it was a great highlight to our day.
What a wonderful Hotel and Staff

"Good quality 4* hotel"
The plaza is as you would expect a 4* US hotel. The bedrooms are large, with Balconies and the beds incredibly comfortable. The hotel has a nice bustling lobby area. The pool area is nice although the gym is currently in a temporary marquee as the new gym is being finished (it looks like it will be a high quality gym) Just across the road is an excellent shopping mall with a really good food court.
The one thing I would say this hotel lacks is any evidence of its history, it is just like any other 4* hotel.
