"Loved it"
We stayed here with our two children for two days on the way to vacation in Colorado. It was expensive but delightful. We had a ground floor room on the courtyard side towards the kids pool which was perfect. The room and bathroom were beautiful. We enjoyed all the activities included with the "resort" fee: we rode bikes, our younger daughter did the little corral pony ride, the girls played chess in the lobby, we enjoyed the spa, the girls loved the native American bread, music and dancing. The pools are great. The food in the courtyard restaurant is extremely expensive for what it is which is to be expected at this kind of resort, but unfortunately very moderate in quality, but if you sit on the patio the setting at least is delightful. (We had the hotel's AAA deal which included breakfast.) We thought inside that restaurant was loud and like a fast food place. A good alternative with kids is the fajita all you can eat in the bar. A great, very relaxing family get away.

"Great Place to Stay !!"
Don't be put off by the relative isolation of the Tamaya, it's situation, slap bang on the shore of the legendary Rio Grande river, and in pristine wilderness, more than makes up for it. There's also the privilege of being able to say that you've actually been a guest of the Santa Anna Pueblo. Why ? Well because the Hyatt Tamaya is run, operated and staffed, or was when I was there, by the Pueblo. That's another thing, these people are amazingly friendly and helpful. I honestly can't speak too highly of the place, O.K. I didn't use either the golf course or the spa, neither did I go to the Pueblo Casino which is about 4 miles away, but I didn't hear anyone else complain. It's situated between Santa Fe & Albuquerque and so if you want to explore you need transport. Other than that 10 out of 10 !!!

"Peaceful Resort Hotel offers Nature & Culture"
This was my second time to stay at the Hyatt Tamaya, and both times were wonderful. My room had a balcony with mountain view. Meadowlarks frequently perched on the split cedar fence below. The natural area surrounding the hotel allows lots of open space to walk, explore, bike and horseback ride. The Rio Grande River runs along the property and the trails provide scenic overlooks. The room was clean, very comfortable bed with luxury linens, spa toiletries, and tasteful southwestern decor. The entire hotel has the fresh scent of cedar. Lots of activities available at this resort, with a focus on native culture. The photos and descriptions on the hotel website are accurate. I am not a golfer, but others seemed to enjoy the course and commented on how beautiful it was. Valet parking provided or a convenient complimentary shuttle will transport you and your bags from the parking lot to the front lobby. This is a short drive to Albuquerque and balloon fest grounds.
