"Good find!" 5 Lads went for a 3 day stay. 10 minute taxi ride to the Red Light district.(5 seater cost us about 18 euro)The hotel is based in the industrial area but it is fine. Hotel is spotless, staff are friendly and efficient....towels changed each day, etc. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay here again.

: "Modern and clean" Booked 3 nights here in Nov 2005. The hotel is very nice as the building is new, everything is clean and very comfortable. I was looking forward to a more traditional, history rich building and location but ended up here. The building and room design is modern, and the stay was very pleasant. Toilet was a bit small but for 1 person it was a practcal size. The water pressure is fantastic! You can really enjoy a good shower here. Location is not the greatest point of this hotel. There is pretty much nothing around the area as it is in the middle of the industrial area. There is a Burger King restaurant adjoining the hotel, but other that that there is no other place to eat. There is a bus stop right across the road where a bus comes every 15 minutes and a 15 minute ride takes you to Centraal Station.

"Good value for money hotel" Good hotel. Nice, clean rooms with comfortable bedding and standard amenities. A mini-bar was missing but did not bother us. Well connected via Bus Line 48 from Central Station. The bus runs every 15 minutes on weekdays and also at good frequency during weekend. Staff are polite and helpful except for one incident on last day when the day reluctantly refused to sterilize the baby milk bottles.

"Just great" We staid in this hotel in the beginning of March and the stay was just great. We came by Airport shuttle from Schiphol airport. When we checked in the hotelstaff was just perfect, so friendly. Hotel is new and very clean. We went to the centre by bus 48, only 10 minutes drive to central station. Rates in this hotel are ok. We booked on there own website and got a rate of 99 Euro a night. We staid in the Tulip Art before, but staff is very unfriendly in the Tulip Art. When we come back in August we will def. stay in the Ibis again.

"Good 3star in the suburbs" Hotel is very new, very clean, very comfortable and safe. However it's not near the centre of Amsterdam - you will have to get the number 48 bus which runs every half hour (there's no way you could walk). If you are not in a party group and are unlikely to be out too late (last bus about midnight) and don't mind a 15 min bus ride to hotel from Centraal station then it's a reasonable choice as it's a fair bit cheaper than similar quality hotels in the centre of Amsterdam. Overall the hotel is a good quality 3 star and worth considering if you can get a good rate and just fancy a bit of quiet sightseeing in Amsterdam.

"Stag Weekend" Me and Twelve of my mates stayed at this hotel in August for my stag do!! I have to admit the hotel was first class and in an ideal location!! It is just outside the city centre (easily accessabile by bus or taxi) and also it is not far from airport either. It has a Burger King next door!! which is ideal for a hangover cure!! No seriously though, the staff at the hotel were very friendly + the rooms were fantastic, with excellent power showers!!! On each level of the hotel in the room corridors there are vending machines with snacks and cold drinks, very conveinient. A couple of my other mates stayed in a flee pitt in the city centre for the same price, GUTTED!!!
