Excellect Quality Hotel"
The Ibis is a little out of the way of the city, but is easily reached via a shuttle bus or train. The hotel is quite new and rooms are very clean and tidy. The front desk reception staff are very friendly, and speak excellent english. The buffet breakfast is also above average, both local and western tastes are catered for. I have had better buffet breakfasts, but this one is still quite good nevertheless. Most importantly, this hotel provides cable broadband internet in very room. They provide you with the cable and simple instructions, and my laptop was up and running on the internet within two minutes. For those who have had problems connecting to wireless connections in the past, you will be very pleased with the ease of connection with this hotel's broadband serice. This hotel is absolutely top value when booked via their website for less than US$90 per day, which includes the breakfast and broadband.

"Good value"
Seoul seems a pretty expensive place to stay so the Ibis is good value. It's handy for COEX if you're at a conference as I was, and about 10 mins from the underground. Seems like an OK neighbourhood ; plenty of restaurants and shops The rooms might seem small to Americans, but are clean and comfortable, and actually bigger than the hotel I stayed in Hong Kong (Metropark). There's no bath, only a shower, and the selection of TV channels is not amazing. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There's free Internet access in the lobby

"Ibis - Great Location, Great Value"
I can echo the reviews provided by the other members here. I was initally booked at the Intercontinental and then changed because my business colleague was staying at the Ibis. Everything about the Ibis was at least one level better than the Ibis' I have stayed at in Europe. The rooms - a little small but very clean, nicely appointed and quiet. Fast ethernet internet conncection (free) was also great to have. Bottomline: This hotel is like staying at a 4 star hotel at a 3 star price..the food, staff, spa are all excellent. I would highly recommend it to business and tourist travellers. One tip: Make sure you allow enough time to travel from Seoul to the Incheon airport..I only departed 2 hours before our flight and almost missed it. It takes a good hour to travel to the airport by taxi or bus. Seoul is a great city..don't miss it.
