"Great hotel, clean, definitely recommended"
It was the second time I spent 3 nights in this hotel and can recommend it highly:
Had a 49 EUR per night rate plus 7 EUR for breakfast. Great deal.
5 minutes-walk to the nearest metro-stations Brochant or Port de Clichy (only 6 stations to Champs-Elysées!), many restaurants, cafés and food shop are nearby, absolutely safe area.
Use the AirFrance Bus (line 2) from CDG, change at Porte Maillot (RER C) and exit at Porte de Clichy. That´s it.
Check in and Check out were smooth, no problems, staff is very helpful. Employees have small labels on their shirts with flags, which indicate the languages she/he is able to speak.
The rooms are small, but clean, that´s an important point for me. I visit Paris to enjoy that amazing city and not the hotel room. Spend your money in the great restaurants or Cafés and not for a room, which can be easiliy 6-8 times higher in Paris.
Ask for a room with the Eiffel tower-view and on a higher floor, that´s nice, no problems with noise, ice cube-machines are located on every floor.
Breakfast is nothing special, but good: Croissants, Baguette, ham, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, tea, water, coffee, but no (scrambled-) eggs or sausages etc., but 7 EUR is OK, especially if you are not very hungry in the morning in general.
Don´t have dinner in one of the ibis-restaurants, food was awful, visit instead the Japanese restaurant which is located directly on the right hand side if you walked down the “hill”: Great Sushi and Teriyaki, friendly staff, ideal after a hard day.

"excellent hotel"
I stayed there for 10 days and I can firmly say that I was very satisfied with every single thing I got.
Price for a double room : 80 EUR including breakfast for 2
Incredible CLEAN, we even insisted on expressing our great satisfaction to the lady in charge.
She looked very surprised but quite happy in the same time.
Five minutes of walk till metro station Brochant.
The hotel is not in the centre of the city, but you can easily reach there by metro in 10 minutes.
Going ahead on Av. de Clichy, if you've got time enough, you may arrive to the Arch in 40 min.
The surroundings are modest, if I may say.......I mean, you're not in the centre, just all kind of other nationalities (others but French in origins) living there....arabs, turks, kurds, chineeese, africans, indians, so on...all of them very familiar with tourists as they're just living there and working (some of the them) in the restaurants all around you.
So, you may find anything you want, all kind of specialties from anywhere in the world, but most important, at very low costs.
Some nights, when we found ourselves tired after walking the whole day, we got chineese food with us in the room, other times we went to indian or arab restaurants. Sushi restaurants are two, chineese two, arabs plenty, italians too......
Otherwise, Paris offers anything you want but everything is for a price. In the centre, just a tea or a coffee costs as much as a whole menu in a restaurant here.
After all, it depends on what you're looking for and how much you're ready to spend.
So, my only regret is that two weeks are not enough for a whole tour of this beautiful city. I'll certainly come again, just for a romantic walk or evening tour on Senne.
PS:
1. Don'thave any idea about the air conditioning cause we had a cold and windy wether, but definetely you may not get an overall impresion based solely on this.
2. the only problem when you get in Paris is to find the hotel; after that, you can get a map and travel all around as much as you can; we got the bus line from airport CDG till the Arch and then got the metro; i think it is the easiest way for anyone and for any destination (no matter where the hotel is) especially when you're in Paris for the first time; the metro covers any point you want to reach in Paris and even in some suburbs.

"Handy Value For Money"
My wife and I have just spent a weekend in Paris at this hotel.
We were very surprised to find a huge typical Ibis style hotel up what can only be described as a side street in the I7 arrondissement of Paris. Clean comfortable basic motel style room, you get what you pay for. Couple of good restaurants a bar and for the adventurous a swimming pool and gym.
Enthusiastic cheerful English (and other) speaking staff, this hotel is great for the short term tourist. Metro about 5 minutes walk away, or ten minutes if you want to go to the Place de Clichy, plenty of shops bars and bistro style restaraunts, nearby. The approach ramp is fairly steep and could put off the elderly or infirm. We travelled from CDG Airport by shared Paris Shuttle (43Euro) a great service.
