"Very good deal" if you arrive by road or train from the west or by plane: the ibis is a very good deal! the rather cheap public bus from the airport takes you to westbahnhof and from there you walk 5 minutes to the hotel. The hotel itself is too fancy and you have all you need. compared with other hotels in vienna this is my best recommendation for the price you pay. it is also very properly located close to westbahnhof or subway and in 4 stations by subway you are in the center of vienna. there is luggage storage and all other facilities an average traveller needs. however, breakfast is overpriced- go to a viennese coffee-shop in the center and you pay 50% but you gain 200% atmosphere. therefore, i recommend the place for normal tourists who want to have some easy and worthwile days in vienna.

"Great city, great hotel" The hotel has a three star rating, but it was above average. The rooms are maybe small, but it is clean, which is, in the end, most important. The staff is friendly. You get two towels, changed each morning, and you have a showergel provided. The breakfast is excellent - anything to choose (hot chocolate is great!) in any quantity. The bar is opened 0-24. Hope you'll have a nice stay in Wien!
