"Imperial Holiday Hotel. - Nice Hotel"
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in September and was very pleased with the level of service and the quality of the rooms. I had a room, which overlooked the lovely pool and was very spacious.
The hotel has a large pool with plenty of sun beds, which was nice to return to after a busy day sight seeing. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, along with the breakfast staff. The hotel does have special Moroccan theme evenings but we checked out the day before the event. There is a roof bar, which looked nice, but everytime we went up stairs for a drink there were no staff members to be found.
The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk from the main square: Jemaa El Fna but is pleasant in the morning and is on route of the Marrakech tour bus.
I would highly recommend this hotel for the price and would return on my next visit to Marrakech.

"Excellent Hotel"
I stayed at the Imperial Holiday Hotel in Marrakech in Sept 06 and was really impressed with the facilities and service. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and the staff were expecting us and were very friendly. The reception staff spoke excellent English, as well as a number of other languages.
Although a relatively small hotel it has everything you need. The rooms were big, airy and clean and our view over the pool was lovely, especially at night. The pool was great, just what's needed after a wander round Marrakech! and although you are in a busy city, when lying round the pool it is really peaceful. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and always willing to help.
The hotel is in a good location within Marrakech, located in the new town which is quieter, more modern and less busy then areas near the Medina but within walking of everything you need.
I stayed at this hotel on a B & B basis and the breakfast was lovely. I can't comment on evening meals, however would suggest you eat outside the hotel as their are many lovely restaurants nearby. Drinks within the hotel are also very expensive.
Having also stayed in a Riad within the Medina I would also opt for a hotel with a Pool, which are normally not that much more expensive.
