Great Style
Nice to stay at the Imperial. Good sized public areas in a grand style. Restaurant staff lacked a little finesse at dinner but lovely meal and the breakfasts will build you up for the day. Sea view rooms are lovely and the suites are very comfortable - the decor in the Presidential Suite is very nice and the size of those sea view windows is marvelous. Lay in bed and watch Blackpool at work. |

"Most enjoyable weekend"
I have just return from staying at The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool and I have to agree with the previous review. I too was not looking forward to staying after such bad reviews but I was very pleasently surprised. The room we stayed in was brillant and very clean. All the staff at the hotel were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. The restaurant food was very good and the service was excellent. I would have no reservations in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel in Blackpool.

"Wonderful!"
Stayed at this fabulous hotel for 3 nights August 1-4th 2005.
We stayed in a triple room which was large and airy, the only quibble I had was that it was at the back of the hotel and looked out over Kwikfit Garage!
Even so it was quiet.
There was a lovely old charm to the hotel, with a smell of polish everywhere which took me back a few years!
The breakfasts were superb and there was plenty for everyone.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

"Great Hotel"
Stayed at this grand hotel in November with all my girlfriend. The only thing i could possible complain about was the weather. There wasn't anything that was too much trouble for any of the staff. Everyone was great. The reception staff were great. They gave us a very good welcome on arrival. They insisted that our bags got carried to the room for us as it was our holiday and we were here to relax and relax we did. We used the bar quite alot as you do when on holiday and i must say that the bar prices are very reasonable. The bar staff were very friendly. The restaurant was outstanding. Especially the breakfasts. althought the evening dinner wasn't bad either. There was a great choice of food available from the carvery.
The room we had was a premium sea view. It was worth paying the extra money for this room as the view was breath taking. It was a large room and had recently being re-furbished. Very comfortable.
The fitness centre had everything you could want. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. Time to go home and again our bags were brought down stairs for us and placed in the car. What a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for value for money, comfort and positioning. Just out of town but only a tram ride or 10 minute walk into it.
