"very nice"
Sleep Inn & Suites Airport was very nice. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and polite and my room was clean. It did seem a little bit cramped for the 2 beds, but being alone, it wasn’t a concern for me.

"Great Location"
If you are looking for a good hotel close to all the tourist areas- this hotel is ideal. Good, very clean comfortable rooms, reception staff excellent. Only downside was the staff at breakfast were not very friendly or helpful.

"Great short break"
We have just returned from a weekend break in Copenhagen staying at this hotel. The Hotel is very smart, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had in a Hotel. There was a great choice and lots of it. The Hotel is also in a very good position, close to the Central train station, with very frequent trains from the Airport. A few minutes walk to the main shopping street Stroget and also Tivoli gardens. We also walked to the Carlsberg Brewery, which is a worthwhile trip (especially if you like lager). We look forward to going back and will certainly stay at the Imperial again

"Imperial hotel FAB!!"
I have recently returned from Copenhagen staying at the Imperial Hotel. It is a four star and lived up to all expectations. We arrived late at about 7.30 Pm and were so exhausted. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel how big and sophisticated it was. My partner and i looked like couple of backpackers!!! There was tea and coffee making facilities in our room which was very welcome and a mini bar stocked with the usual drinks and chocolate bars if you were really desperate. We couldnt resist ordering room service which arrived within 20 mins. We had a fabulous club sandwich and fries and a coke which cost about £20 which i thought was reasonable as it was huge and very filling. We slept like a log each night as the beds were so comfy. We rang down for an iron and ironing board and this arrived in a flash. Buffet breakfast was included and you could not have wished for more. Full pots of fresh coffee were on each table and the choice of food was amazing. Every cereal you could think of, toast, croissants, danish pastrys, yogurts and the best bit was the endless amount of scrambled eggs, beans and there well cooked crispy streaky bacon. There was also cold meats, fruit and fresh fruit juices. You were left alone to get on with it and not rushed one bit. We ate in the hotels Brasserie restaurant attached to the bar and again the food was fab and service even better. The bar is semi casual and although we made an effort some people had jeans on and no one takes a blind bit of notice. You could sit in the bar all night it was so pleasant. There is another al a carte restaruant in the hotel if you really want to treat yourself. You have a Tv in your room with limited channels. You can pay seperately for films etc but we ordered the £22 package which had all the channels, selection of films and internet use by either the tv or laptop. I cant think of anything i didnt like about the hotel.It is centrally located and 2 mins from Tivoli which unfortunatley was not open in Jan. We would definately go back and stay again. It was clean, modern and catered for families, couples or even the businessman. Happy Holiday!!

"Great Value"
We returned today Feb 16 2005 from a 3night stay and consider the Imperial the best value we have ever had in Copenhagen where we have stayed previously on numerous occasions.We wanted to see our latest grandchild.The weather outside was blowing a blizzard as we arrived late evening.The sunny receptionist by name (I think)Shiraz Raja met our request for non smoking,quiet room with a key to an excellent room on the 6th floor.Roomy with easy chairs all facilities in good order and change of linen every day,The breakfast and evening restaurant are first class and we can heartily recommend this hotel on the basis of our experience.Add the bonus of the Imperial being next the Westerport station where we were able to take a train every 15 mins or so.

"Perfect for Weekend Break!"
My girlfriend & I stayed here for three nights & found the hotel perfect for our needs & in a convenient central location. Our room was on the 6th floor which faced out to the back of the hotel (no great view but we didn't go to look out of our hotel window!). The room was very clean & adequately sized with a large bathroom, no complaints. The hotel exterior is part of a larger building that comprises shops/boutiques & a multi-screen cinema. The interior itself reflects an earlier period of Danish design (through furniture, fittings etc) & as such, can seem to people to appear "dated". The breakfast was good value, especially the freshly baked bread each day. Plenty of fresh fruit etc as well as the usual bacon/scrambled eggs hotel fare. The hotel is centrally located, close to Central Station (max 10mins walk with bags) & over the road from Vesterport Station. It is also five minutes walk from Tivoli & from there, onto Stroget (main shopping street). The Danish Design Center opposite Tivoli is worth a look. Copenhagen is a small city & perfect for walking around: Nyhavn is touristy but a good place to hang out for a drink in the evening. Food & drink can be expensive throughout the city but try & avoid the touristy places on Nyhavn/Storget as they hike up the prices. I recommend exploring the side streets & finding places frequented by Danes: the restaurant "Zirup" was a great find with main courses (eg: fresh salmon steaks) for £12 & alcohol around £2-3 a glass of wine/small beer. Some establishments charge extra when paying by credit card (not Visa though) as they in turn are charged by the credit card companies. All in all, if you're in Copenhagen, try the Imperial Hotel. It more than adds to the Copenhagen experience! Mark, London
