"Affordable and convenient" My family and I stayed at the Best Western in Buena Park, CA for 3 nights. The hotel is located on Beach Blvd., close to Knott's Berry Farm. The rooms offer individual thermostat-controlled heating/cooling units. The room we were in was quite small, but did have a king-sized bed with a couch that pulled out into a bed. I wouldn't recommend counting on the sofa bed as a comfortable solution to the small room, but since my daughter is only 2 1/2, she slept quite well in it. When we checked in, we asked for extra pillows and towels, which were delivered promptly. The pool was quite small (ranged from 3-5 1/2 feet deep and back) and was not heated (at least, not to a comfortable temperature after the sun was gone). There is also a small jacuzzi, which takes quite a bit of time to heat up. There was a free breakfast offered from 6-9a daily, which looked to consist mostly of muffins, fruit, and beverages. There is an Outback Steakhouse located next to the hotel, and a Burger King next to that, so there are a couple of eating options within walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and promptly resolved any complaints (the high speed internet wasn't working when we arrived, but was quickly reset and working). I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Buena Park area.

"No Problems!" Room was clean - two beds, en-suite bath/shower and toilet, tv was a bit naff (only two colours!), fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Plenty of parking. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and consisted of fruit, cereals, bagels, toast, waffles, doughnuts, muffins, tea, coffee and juice. Plenty of eating places within walking distance. Recommend Claim Jumper! Disneyland was about 20 - 30 minutes drive. It took about three days to get to / from Universal!! Is traffic always that bad in LA? Knotts Berry is about 10 minutes walk.

"Better than you will expect" I was a typical traveller that gets anxious of booking after reading poor reviews. But i was really happy. I had two rooms booked for a total of five days, broken in the middle by a stay in Vegas and G.C for 4 days. Maybe i was lucky, but the location of my rooms were perfect. Overlooking the pool and spa which we used evening time after a long day out. Steps to the front lobby/breakfast which was perfectly adequate and fresh, if a little bit simple. The rooms were very clean ( i think they have replaced carpets since they looked very clean). They were a good size too with plently of space for a total of 7 of us in two rooms, which incidentally they placed together too. Coffee maker, large fridge, microwave, breakfast. No probs with water, drips or anything at all. I really couldn't fault it but if i was pushed, i'd say the t.v's and channels could be better. I didn't hear any noise from the close freeway from our room, although it is obvious as soon as you open the door. But i forgave that since i could get easily to any destination purely because of the great location. The price cannot be beaten too, and any U.K travellers should use ---- for excellent all inclusive rates. I will stay here again for my next visit in a couple of years. This is a cheap place but you get more than you expect, , i've stayed in a lot more expensive ones that were well below the standard of this overall.
