LOCATION

Inter-hotel Terminus located in town center, opposite of the railway station and bus station. The presence of the sea is automatically a major asset as it allows for all kinds of sailing activities, from cruising to Optimist competitions, as well as all gliding sports including windasiling (Saint-Adresse is France's number three sport), seed-sail and surfing.

The city is proud of its SRH - Société des Régates du Havre (Le Havre's regatta society, which was the first one of its kind to be created in Europe.

Le Havre-de-Grâce was created by Francis I in 1517, on the right bank of the Seine estuary, to solve the silting up of Honfleur harbour and to compensate for the partial destruction of the port of Harfleur. Having started out as a military, fishing and trade port, Le Havre was converted into a war port by Richelieu and Vauban in the 17th century. Several fine examples of Le Havre architecture are standing today. With its old stones, museums, music, theatre, dancing and reading, Le Havre has something for everyone, for every age or season.
