Intercity Hotel Dusseldorf
A nice clean hotel with good breakfast choice a short stroll from the Hauptbahnhof. Although this is not the best area in Dusseldorf, you do get complimentary publci tranport tickets that will whisk you to the centre quickly within just a few minutes.
If you need Internet access you can get wireless prepaid cards at reception - the only way to get access, although could be cheaper. |

Excellent hotel
Enjoyed the stay here. Excellent rooms, great service and is close to everything in Dusseldorf. When next in Duselldorf will definately stay here again.

Very good 3 star hotel
Location of this hotel is very central in walking distance of the Main Station, Koenigsallee shopping and the Old Town.
I asked for a room facing the courtyard, which was absolutely quiet. The room in nordic-modern design featured a queen size bed, fax machine, a very clean bathroom with shower, air condition and a huge array of (German) magazines. Being a Steigenberger Award World Gold Member, not only was I given a Welcome Cocktail Voucher (good for a drink up to 10 EUR), in the room I found fruit, M & M's, water and a small poetry book. Furthermore, I was given a card good for one hour of internet access and a morning newspaper. Along with the free public transport included in everybody's room rate at InterCityHotels, what more could you ask for? Breakfast was fine, so were check-in and check-out.

A great value near the train station
This hotel was a great value for our stay in Dusseldorf. We spent three nights in all. The hotel staff was very helpful in directing us to different areas of the city and the hotel is a couple block from the main train station so you can easily get around. There is a small bar where you can have a couple drinks. We did not try the restaurant (the bar is in this restaurant), however we had the breakfast one day and it is a nice spread of cold cuts, fish, cheese, yogurt, fruit and bread.

Perfect hotel...
The hotel was extremely good value for money: the room rates were very reasonable and included breakfast AND ground transportation in Dusseldorf. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. |
