"Good hotel"
Stayed at this hotel for two nights. We got a corner room which gave us the possibility to see the lake. Rooms and corridors are outdated an need an overhaul. Despite that the rooms look outdated, the bed is verry comfortable and the room was spottless clean and everything worked correctly. The public spaces on the ground floor are already completely overhault and look superbe. The breakfast was verry good although there is no cook in the breakfastroom so one has to order an omlette at a waiteresse.
Conclusion : verry good hotel especially the beds and good breakfast. Hallways an rooms need a overhaul.
Would I go back : defenitly.

"Intercontinental is a delight if you love modern architecture"
The public rooms have just been redesigned and it is absolutely stunning. They have taken something ordinary and transformed it into extraordinary! The use of natural woods and modern artwork and lighting is breathtaking. The floor to ceilng doors to the banquet rooms are silver by Christophle and they depict a forest in etched silver panels. The dining room is gorgeous and the food was creative with the finest ingredients. They have the best breakfast buffet I have ever enjoyed and you can order omelettes ... all at no additional charge. I ordered a fruit salad in the bar and it was delicious and full of exotic ripe fruits. If you don't stay here, at least go by and take a look. Because of proximity to the UN it is a very electic, international crowd. We arrived early and they rushed to get a room ready for us and even upgraded us. They will be remodeling the rooms in the future but our room was still very nice. We were able to take the bus easily to go downtown so proximity to downtown was not an issue. The staff was wonderful and professioanal.

"Excellent Hotel"
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights...It was wonderfull...The rooms are spacious, the decor is very good, and the service is great...It's little bit expensive but it is very good experience to saty there....I am planning now to have one of my honey moon station there... just to enjoy the luxury.
