"Fantastic stay!"
I stopped here with a goup of people for a friends birthday and I must say it was one of best hotels I have stopped in. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and any requests we made were tended to straight away.
Food in the hotel was excellent, and even at short notice a birthday cake was produced and presented to us by the chef for my friends birthday.
I would well recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of stopping in Prague, and I myself have already booked it again for a return trip in Jan 2007.

"My favourite Prague hotel"
I stayed in this hotel many times. It is in one of the best locations of Prague, on the shore of the Vltava river, at the end of the Parizska street, which is the most prestigious shopping (Vuitton,
Hermes, Cartier etc.) and residential streed in the city. All major
Prague sights as Old Town Square or Wenceslaw square are within short walk distance.
The building is not very appealing as it was built during the communism yet the interiors are 5*. The hotel has more
than 300 rms and their standard rooms are a bit smallish so try to get at least a club junior suite or a large suite. Those are spacious, well appointed, with large marble bathrooms, some with secondary guest bathrooms and jaccuzzis.
The Club lounge provides great personalized service as
well as private breakfast and a wide range of food and beverages all day, also 2 computers with free internet.
The Cafe dowstairs is quite busy all day and also visited
by locals, I prefer their rooftop restaurant Zlata Praha which
benefits of the location in the 9th floor and definitelly best
views over the old town, with a terrace in summer. The
food is top quality and there also is a regular brunch at sunday, with good value (appx. 30 eur per person) and very popular with
locals as well.
The fitness area is a bit small compared to those at the
Marriott(world class) or Hilton (cybex) and the pool gets overcrowded sometimes but otherwise it is very nice and pleasant, with pool, whirlpool, gym, saunas and a small garden to sunbathe in summer.
The hotel also has a reasonably priced chauffeured car
service, it is a good option to use instead the prague taxis.
I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a deluxe hotel
in a top city location in Prague.

"Lovely Hotel!, Great Location, very nice staff"
Fist of all, the hotel crew was so nice, they relocated us immediately (and with a smile) when we didn't like our room location, they recommended us great restaurants and places to visit, and they were just great with the baby.
In the outside the hotel looks like an old communist-Russia building... but in the inside it was very elegant and inviting. The room was beautiful, the view wasn't the best, but it really didn't matter because the hotel is so well located. The food was also very good.
I haven't a single complain about this hotel and I won't hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

"nice hotel"
We stayed at the Intercontinental Prague for 2 nights while in Prague for a wedding. I highly recommend the hotel. The rooms were good size and very nicely decorated. I fell in love with the bedding! I don't think I have slept better in a hotel - huge Euro size down pillows, individual down comforters, and plush linens. The hotel is quite large and seems to be on the tour group circuit. Despite that the hotel was obviously very busy, our room was fairly quiet although I believe I could hear some footsteps in the morning from the room upstairs. Not a big deal though! The hotel is centrally located just a short walking distance from most of the major sights in Prague. The only slight drawback is perhaps the outer appearance of the hotel. It was obviously built a number of years ago in a relatively modern style considering the architecture of the rest of the city. But, hey, what's done is done and you aren't spending your time gazing on the outside of the hotel anyways. Would definitely return!

"Location Location"
This was our 2nd time at this hotel and we were again pleased with the room, food, and service. This hotel is perfect for sight seeing, as it is close to everything. We walked everywhere in Prague. Room was big and comfortable, it was extremely hot this trip, and we thought the air conditioning could have been better. Buffet breakfast had everything and kept us ffull uuntil the night. If you are going to Prague, sty in this hotel.

"Great Location and Impeccable Services"
I stay in the hotel end of July for 3 days over the weekend.
First of all, the location is great. It is close to the Jewish Quarter for sightseeing. Don't miss walking along Parizska from the hotel to the old town square, there are lots of beautiful buildings and cafes along the way. You will see lots of locals there as well as tourists. I was told it is one of the most expansive address in the city.
Services... I got upgraded to the club floor. The club lounge is simply amazing and very convenient for free breakfast, a drink before heading out and even a snack. The staff were extremely helpful when ask to reserve restaurants etc.
The only negative thing is the building. It is quite modern and therefore out of place in Prague. However, the rooms are lovely and of a good size. I would stay there again the next time I visit Prague.

"Wonderful Hotel"
Having just completed my 63rd trip to Europe, I can say with some authority how wonderful it is to stay at the Prague InterContinental! The service was wonderful with helpful and friendly staff (even the maids were smiling); check-in was a breeze; the rooms are quite large, nicely decorated and clean; breakfast was AMAZING (if they don't have it, you don't want it; hot buffet, large variety of breads, large variety of cheeses, fresh fruit, excellent jams, etc); and the location could not be better. Nearly everything is within a 15 min walk (except for the Prague Castle, which is a nice 30 min walk across the river and up the hill). I also joined the InterContinental Ambassador Club just before heading to Prague -- and this comes with nice touches like automatic upgrade to next room type, complimentary items in room (fresh fruit, mineral water, pasteries, chocolates, newspaper and wine), one free movie with every stay, and - the best - guaranteed late checkout until 4pm (no having to check-out in the AM and store your luggage; I was able to site-see all day, return to my room and freshen up before checking out and catching my train).
