The distance to Freeport International Airport is 1 mile, International Cruise Ship Terminal is 5 miles, Beaches are 2.5 miles and the Casino is 2.5 miles. Shuttle vans and private cars are available for Island Palm Resort.

Shop at the Port Lucaya Marketplace, just a few minutes from the Island Palm. The inviting streets of this well know shopping complex are know for fine international eateries, quaint boutiques and calypso street music.

Deadman's Reef, 13 miles from the resort off Grand Bahama's southwest coast, is a prime snorkeling site and is within swimming distance of the beach.
