"Great Business Hotel"
This is an absolutely fantastic hotel, I should know, I stayed there for 5 months... straight. Let's see, where to begin:
Food: Breakfast is phenomenal. A wide assortment of bread, cheese, fruits, salads, fish, etc... you can also have eggs made to your preference. Wide variety of teas and coffee drinks. With some rooms breakfast is included, some not. In the evenings a kosher assortment is laid out, normally consisting of salads, one hot dish, one soup and some dessert. Complimentary beer and wine are also offered. Again, I believe this only comes with certain rooms and other rooms need to pay. There is also a menu in the lounge area and room service, I, however, have never used either.
Rooms: Spacious. A living room with a fold out couch as well as a separate bedroom and "kitchen" type area. Many rooms have balconies, not all face the ocean, some face the city. Hotel is high up so I believe all rooms have a great view.
Housekeeping: Turn down service at night. Maids keep the rooms and bathrooms quite clean.
Heating/AC: Each room is individually climate controlled. I'm always cold, so, I regularly turned on the heat. It takes on average about 10 mins to kick in. I know the maid turned on the A/C once or twice and it appeared to work just fine.
Staff: All of the staff are quite helpful. I wouldn't confuse helpful with friendly, however. I was there four months, so, they knew me. If you were there for a day or two, they may not seem as open.
Security: Hotel has great security. A security personnel is seated outside and you must be able to tell him what room you are in and your name to enter (unless of course you're checking in or there for a conference).
Location: Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. (that's including a walk across 2 busy streets) A diverse collection of restaurants are all within a 15 minute walk - Japanese, Russian, Yemeni, fusion, etc. Shopping is everywhere. There's an internet cafe across the street and a 24 hr market. There is a pool but it is not open all year round. You may want to investigate first.

it was great
In fact, the room was colder than my freezer. The shower was terrific, the room size was outstanding, and the service was great. I like the fact that the pool is on the roof- You have a magnificent view of Tel Aviv, and the mediteranean sea.

"five stars"
An excellent choice. Not cheap but well worth it. A very spacious one bedroom suite with a convertible sofa. Living room nice size for receiving 8 guests or so. Definitely a 5 star in terms of furnishings, bathroom etc. The beach and lots of good restaurants across the street. Great view from spacious balcony (most rooms have view of the Med.)
