nice hotel in an excellent location with super staff
My husband and I have literally just returned from a long weekend at
sokullupasa Hotel (my husband is still unpacking as I type this), but I wanted to let you know what an amazing stay we had. The hotel is amazing, The room (309) itself was quite large with everything that you need for a long weekend (complimentary soaps, shampoo, hairdryer, fridge and much needed air conditioning!). The staff were excellent and very friendly. They were always there to help you out if you needed assistance and welcome you in when you returned from your evening out (no matter what the time). The garden is fantastic, breakfast is served here in the morning till 10.30 am and has a bar that offers snacks and drinks till late at night. The hotel itself is approximately 5 mins to the Blue Mosque and Ayia Sofia. Personally Ayia Sofia was the most amazing out of the two, but both are well worth the visit, as too is the Roman Cistern. For sunset head to the Galata Bridge and sitting at one of the many bars that are located under the bridge, on a Saturday evening there is live music around this area and well worth a visit. All in all this has been an amazing three days and we will be back to visit Istanbul again and visit the sights we never made it to, and when we do we will be booking back into Sokullupasa Hotel again. |
