"A delightful hotel"
We have been to Paris several times and have stayed in several different hotels. Jardin de L'Odeon has been our favorite, and we will definitely stay there again. The hotel is charming and beautiful and has only 41 rooms. We sprung for a superior class room, and it was definitely worth it. The room was a very nice size and had a private balcony. The staff was most helpful and very friendly. The location on the left bank is our favorite. There is a wonderful restaurant around the corner, Chez Paul.
We don't usually submit reviews, but TripAdvisor was a Godsend on our recent 17-day trip to Italy and Paris, so we thought it was important to share our sentiments. With that said, we hope you enjoy Jardin de L'Odeon as much as we did.

"Excellent location, perfect boutique hotel!"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and loved the location and the hotel itself. We certainly lucked out with this one! Having stayed in chain hotels in the past in Paris, we decided to try a boutique hotel and couldn't be more pleased with this one. The rooms were tastefully decorated, staff was very friendly and helpful (and spoke english), the location couldn't be nicer - plenty of restaurants nearby, coffee shops and shopping as well. Very close to markets, also. We just loved this hotel. The only negative comment was the elevator died on the last day of our stay so we had to bring our luggage down the narrow stairs. We didn't have breakfast (we find that most hotels breakfasts are too expensive for what you get) but there was a nice little garden patio that would have been lovely for a cafe in the morning.

"Lovely!"
This is an absolutely lovely, unpretentious hotel in one of the most beautiful sections of Paris. Our window looked out toward the facade of the Odeon Theater, the Luxembourg Gardens are right behind. The location is so central that you can walk anywhere in the city from here, but because the hotel is tucked away on a tiny, quiet street, you barely realize you're in the middle of everything. The beds were beautifully made up every day; for some reason the housekeepers didn't see fit to replenish bathroom supplies and organize the sink area. Can't figure that one out. But the reception staff is extraordinary -- helpful and charming -- and the hotel provides free wifi as well as a very inexpensive international phone service -- a tremendous boon to those of us who have work to do while in the City of Light. A+
