"Ideal tourist area hotel"
After staying in so-called four star accommodation earlier in Athens, this hotel was a welcome change! We were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff, a small but very clean room with good air-conditioning and mini bar. The hotel was quiet and the view from the rooftop restaurant was great, overlooking the entire Acropolis. Location-wise it was close to the tourist areas of Plaka and Monastariki, these being a short walk away - however the walk isn't through the prettiest area of Athens. The breakfast was small with few selections but it was good quality and the ambience and view made things very enjoyable.

"Great start to our trip"
Landed in Athens early morning and staff were very welcoming and happy to store our luggage until our room was ready. Room was small but comfortable - at the back of hotel with a glorious tree outside the window. Rooftop breakfast and dinner were good. Although neighbourhood is a little seedy, hotel is very handy to Thissio Metro station and walking distance to Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma Square. Good value for money.

"attractive little Greek hotel"
Friendly and helpful staff at the Jason Inn Hotel made an immediate impact, making me feel comfortable and at ease. They provided excellent service and information as the where to look, how to get around the city, and even recommended some short breaks on a budget. The hotel is situated within easy access to the Metro Service and other ancient archaeological sites including the Acropolis and Argora. There are also lots of cafes and restuarants within walking distance from the hotel. The Roof Garden Restuarant is most recommended, as you can have breakfast or a relaxing drink in the evening, overlooking the magnificent Acropolis. For a three-star hotel at this rate, the Jason Inn is definitely a great bargain.

"Fantastic location"
Just back from Athens where we stayed at Jason Inn for 7 nights (February 2005). Really, for the price we paid (Hotel Club 56 euros / double room, including buffet breakfast) the facilities were superb. The hotel had very friendly staff, rooms were clean and the whole hotel newly renovated (maybe for the olympics?). Really short walking distance from the main historical sites, excellent restaurant zone around the corner. Also the Thissius metro station was just 300 meters away.
Upon arrival, we asked for a room at the quieter side and did get one. In fact it was so quiet that we slept more soundly than at home (excellent beds, too). Often one gets disturbed when the other clients walk and talk in the corridors - in Jason Inn the bedrooms are well isolated with two doors. At the entrance there is first a small hallway and the bathroom and then another door that leads to the bedroom.
Another bonus is that every room has a balkony - well the view to the back of the hotel was pretty ugly, but a non-smoker travelling with a smoker always appreciates a balkony. Also the heating was really good - even bathrooms were warm - though they had a window out.
I do recommend!
