"Clean, Kind, and Great Location"
After reading some of the reviews on here I was a bit hesitant on staying at the Lotti - seems everyone hates it or loves it. I had emailed the hotel ahead of time to request a non-smoking room in the newer section of the hotel. They said they would do all they could, but could not guarantee it. Our flight got into Paris at the ungodly hour of 6:45am, so we arrived on about 2 hours sleep (red eye). We got to the hotel around 8:30 and were told that we would have to wait to get the specific room we wanted since the newer section was booked solid (and they were nice in the way they handled this). They held our luggage for us, no problem. We roamed the city for a couple of hours until we could not stand up anymore. Back to the hotel lobby to check our status around 10:45am. The room wasn't ready yet, but that didn't surprise me, since checkout wasn't until noon. We lazed in the lobby waiting for the good word. Our room was ready around 12:30pm, and it was a courtyard room, very quiet. We checked in then (90 minutes before the usual 2pm checkin), and the room was great. No signs of any smoke, and quite roomy. I think it was Room # 58. The bathroom was awesome, a shower with full shower door and a full bathtub complete with bathrobes and slippers for both of us. We never even turned on the TV (why would you in Paris) so I have no comment on that. We walked everywhere from the hotel, from the Louvre to Notre Dame to St. Sulpice, the Opera, the Arc, and the Eiffel Tower. We found the people in Paris to be very kind, and we hadn't had time to learn much of the language. They didn't mind speaking English with us when necessary. The only bad part of the trip (besides some of the heavy downpours) was that the train terminal at the airport was closed the day we left, as someone had left baggage there. After several shuttle bus changes and a cab ride from one terminal to another, we arrived at our gate 20 minutes after the flight was supposed to leave. Luckily others had the same issue, so we didn't miss the flight... TAKE A CAB TO THE AIRPORT, even if it does cost more.

"Details, Details, Details, The Lotti Gets It!"
To celebrate my 50th birthday I stayed at the Lotti for two weeks with my sister from May 5th until May 19th. We were extremely happy with our choice for many reasons. The Lotti was a beautiful hotel. The entire hotel was filled with beautiful flower arrangements. These arrangements celebrated spring and were changed daily and made a huge impact. They also displayed wonderful artwork. The lobby furniture was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The entire hotel was quietly elegant. The staff including the concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, and doormen were all courteous and efficient. However, we did encounter one rude guest clerk and one unpleasant evening waiter at the Il Lotti restaurant. The Il Lotti restaurant was wonderful for breakfast. We had the buffet every morning and enjoyed it in a beautiful relaxed setting with great morning restaurant staff. The manager Mr. Karim was very kind and very helpful. Our room was in the new wing as we requested. It was decorated and well maintained. It was large, smoke-free, well lit, and had a beautiful marble bathroom. The dual sinks and shower were very much appreciated. The wood floor in the room was much preferable to carpet. Our room was so large and comfortable that we actually ate lunch in it a few times. The bed linens were crisp and fresh and turned down every evening. The beds were a little on the hard side but we adjusted to this after a few days. We used the room safe daily. One evening after coming in from dinner we had drinks and listened to the piano player in the lobby. It capped off a great day. Another day we had lunch in the courtyard which was quiet and beautiful. One desk clerk Elizabeth was extremely patient and knowledgeable while helping us with the lobby internet. She also greeted us kindly everyday and answered the multitude of questions we had. Finally, the location of this hotel cannot be beat. The Tuileries, the Louvre, Musee d 'Orsay, Opera Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, are just a short walk away. I would also recommend visiting Musee Jacqemart-Andre, Musee Picasso, Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Musee de Cluny, and Vaux le Vicomte. In the future the Lotti will be my home away from home every time I visit Paris.

"Loved this hotel!"
Selected this hotel based on previous TA recommendations and we were not disappointed. The hotel’s location cannot be beaten; we never took the Metro while we stayed there, choosing to walk everywhere as most places were only a stroll away (Tuileries Gardens, Louvre, Champs Elysees, L’Arc de Triomphe, Musee d’Orsay… we also walked to the Eiffel Tower) and really there’s no better way to see Paris than by foot. When we checked in we were immediately upgraded from a room to a junior suite which boasted a sitting room, 1 bedroom, ample wardrobes and 2 full bathrooms. The view from the windows was nothing special, overlooking a courtyard but nevermind about that. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of Parisian luxury in the heart of the city.

"Excellent Location"
My mother and I stayed at the Lotti for six nights in March and were very impressed with everything. This was my seventh time in Paris and this was, by far, the best hotel that I have stayed at. I agree with former reviewers about many aspects of this hotel - excellent locations, beautiful bar area, excellent concierge and check in service, very spacious for European standards and wonderful bathrooms. I also requested a renovated, non-smoking room in the new section of the hotel (after reading other posts on Trip Advisor) and that is exactly what we got. The room looked exactly like the photos on their web site. Lovely hardwood floors and although we were facing Rue de Castiglione, the street noise did not bother us at all. Also, very modern and fast elevators compared to my other European experiences. When we arrived in Paris at 8:30 am, after a long overseas flight, we were delighted to learn that our room was ready. I expected to be told that we would have to wait, but we were taken to our room immediately. There was no problem checking in - they were quick and efficient and all spoke excellent English. The concierge also arranged for some tickets to be given to us, courtesy of the hotel, after I inquired about a special exhibit taking place in Paris. Nice touch. We had the breakfast included in our room rate and it was excellent - although I don't think that I would pay full price if it hadn't been included. I would have definitely gone around the corner to Angelina's, on Rue de Rivoli, for breakfast otherwise. We did eat at the restaurant in the hotel, Il Lotti, and were quite disappointed. The hotel uses this beautiful room for breakfasts and so to go there for dinner as well seemed disappointing. The food was only average and you certainly can find a better place in Paris than this restaurant. My only real complaint about this hotel was the beds. They were very hard and after six nights, I felt like I had aged about twenty years. If you like a VERY firm bed, then this will suit you but I found it quite hard and uncomfortable. In the grand scheme of things, this was very minor and I would stay at the Lotti again for all the positive reasons stated. The hotel is located between The Ritz and The Westin and if you are looking for a wonderful four star hotel in a terrific location, I would certainly recommend the Lotti.

"Fantastic service and location"
Stayed in Paris earlier this month and the Lotti was a find. Excellent service and superb room. Very centrally located and the staff could not have been more helpful. Unfortunately many Americans invaded Paris that week (its OK - I'm one too). The restaurant was nothing spectacular but the view from the room and the access to everything more than made up for it. Tr the Angl'Opera restaurant. Cutting edge food at reasonable prices in a tres chic setting.

"Great location, loved my stay here"
Hotel Lotti is conveniently located, close to gardens and Louvre. Price is reasonable for the location and amenities. Authentic hotel with nice sitting area, antiques and art. Rooms were nice, authentic, and had nice bathrooms. Rooms and beds were clean. Would definitely stay here again!

"You gotto love the Lotti!!"
We just came back from Paris, we were at the Lotti form Nov 23rd to the 29th. We had a great experience, the doorman spoke perfect english as did the concierge and the staff at the check in desk. Language was not a problem and both of us do not speak french. They helped us with nearby resturants, cash machines, and the metro stops we needed to know about. The room was a deluxe room on the 1st floor [Entrasol level is what it was called] We had a courtyard facing room, quiet and very large by europeon standards. King size bed [2 singles together] 2 decks with chairs, sofa, coffee table and extra chair. Large closet with press, large bath with seperate shower deep bath tub 2 sinks with make up mirror, hair dryer [electric style not the hot tube that burns your hands after awhile] toilet and bidet all in a marbled bathroom. Robes and slippers are provided. Good water pressure and mechanicals [heating and ac] This was a non smoking room, no trace of smoke. Turn down service at night, room was cleaned every morning while we were out. Maid service was great, if we took a shower in the afternoon or even used a washcloth it was changed again in the late afternoon or early evening at the turn down service. The down side is the beds are a bit hard as elsewere in Europe and the TV is a bit strange with all the features it tries to supply, not enough english tv, CNN and Syknews are about it. They also charge you for the internet in the lobby [5 euros for 30 minutes] I would think for the price of the room they should include this as we paid 250 euros a night. All in all it was a great time and I look forward to returning to the Lotti, Thank you hotel Lotti staff!
