"Great location!!"
Stayed one night at Jurys Inn.Great location.Could walk to most sites e.g.Museum of Art, Repertoire Theatre, the canal etc, etc.
The rooms are spacious( all rooms have 2 double beds....can book for 3 adults, or 2 adults & two kids) & very clean. Got a good deal with breakfast via Otel.com. Would stay here again. Our rooms were on the 9th floor & not facing the main road(Broad st), so no problem with noise.
Lovely 3 star hotel

"Great location & well worth a visit"
The Jury's Inn is perfectly situated in the thick of activity along Broad Street; you're a stones throw from the Canals, clubs, restaurants, bars, the superb Mailbox, as well as the Symphony (exhibition) Hall. The Bullring shopping complex is around a 10 minute walk.
The lobby is clean, and very large, with plenty of space to sit and chat, there is a bar serving light meals and snacks all day, and two internet kiosks (50p for 5mins). Although the hotel has over 400 rooms, I found checking in fairly quick - there are usually 4 members of staff at the desk. 4 lifts take you to your floor.
My room was on the 7th floor and although it didn't offer a 'pleasant' view, it was quiet (apart from the odd bump from the walls as they are very thin). The room was large, with 2 beds, a double and a queen size, tea & coffee facilities, remote TV with in-room movies, writing desk, air conditioning (which worked very well) and a bathroom with shower/bath.
Breakfast was served on the ground floor and was very busy, but there is a good selection to choose from and I found the service typical of the Jury's brand, which is perfectly acceptable. There is also a restaurant for evening meals with a good choice of menus based on certain areas of the world - great for a multi cultural city like Birmingham.
There are more expensive hotels offering less comfortable accommodation in the City - and in less pleasant locations - so I believe the price for this hotel represents excellent value.

"Wicked!"
Excellent, affordable hotel. Clean, good location, good views, good staff attitude and very modern. The Belfry is NOTHING in comparison! Stay here and save the extra 70+ quid per night on a shopping trip to the Bullring ;-)
