Twin room weekend break
Good-sized clean, but very basic room considering 3* rating and cost. Concerns: No room service! No fridge, cold drinks/water or safe. No toiletries provided apart from liquid soap containers fixed to bathroom wall. Difficult to be discreet when using bathroom due to small size of room! Have to phone reception to request iron/board - which arrived very fast via housekeeping service. Hot drinks via tiny kettle filled from bathroom tap, plus small quantity of tea/coffee sachets which weren't replaced on 2nd day - no biscuits.... Surprised to see blankets used & pj's just appeared dumped on pillow after bed made up next morning. Could have done with bigger/more towels and pillows. NCPCarpark underneath accessed via confusing one-way street system and costly - needed to know to take ticket to reception for discounting BEFORE going exiting carpark - use exit by bar to get to (openair) lift to carpark as otherwise have to walk around outside entire building with cases and/or get very wet if raining!! Noisy airconditioning, which needed to be on all night as room stuffy and traffic noticeable if left window open (sited in middle of city roundabout). Couldnt see restaurant prices for evening meal. Positives: Very clean and in good order throughout. Good included serve yourself hot/cold breakfast buffet, ice/cold water machine along corridor. Effective powershower and nice, low stepover bath. Helpful and friendly reception/housekeeping staff, even when we arrived just before midnight. Other: got much better rate using internet than offered by calling hotel direct. Hotel appeared to be used by local cruiselines to accomodate arriving staff.

Brilliant
I stayed here last week and it was fantastic!! Clean, tidy, brilliant service, lovely bar and eating area. This is value for money and i will be coming again.

"Immaculate"
We stayed at Jurys, Southampton for one night in August. You can certainly tell that it hasn't been open for very long, everything is in pristine condition. We had a disabled room and it was huge, as was the bathroom. All very clean and tidy. The bar in the hotel got very busy in the evening and had a good atmosphere. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning, which was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving good directions etc when asked. The location is very good, just 10 minutes walk across the park and you are in the high street. You can't go wrong for the price.

I stayed throughout the Southampton Boat Show, location very central, service and staff first class. Value for money nothing can beat. New Hotel that I can seriously recommend without hesitation. A must Stay City Centre Hotel.
