This converted town house hotel opened in February 2000. The whole theme of the hotel is one of elagance and simplicity.
The hotel offers contemporary and stylish accommodation within easy reach of the shops on Kensington High Street and only 5 minutes walk to Kensington Gardens.

The public areas are quite small but again stylish. The bar, restaurant and lounge are all in one room. A limited snack menu is available at lunchtime with a more extensive dinner menu.

LOCATION

Just off High Street Kensington, the hotel enjoys a superb location, regardless of your itinerary. The serenity of Kensington Gardens is just a gentle stroll away - as is the buzz of the High Street, with its boutiques and restaurants that are renowned the world over.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

*Although Kensington House does not have its own gymnasium, a special arrangement has been made with Matt Roberts Health Club, located in Kensington High Street. Their facilities are available at a reduced entrance fee, treatments will be extra.

*The Tiger Bar & Restaurant, has been imaginatively designed to provide both a lounge serving morning coffee, afternoon tea and drinks and a dining area open for lunch and dinner. The adjoining terrace can also be used for small private functions.

*The hotel has one lift, offers a full concierge service, 24 hour room service and non-smoking rooms.

ROOM AMENITIES

* Each room is a different shape and size, with either bath or shower and features include, voicemail/modem, duvet, courtesy tray, in-room safe and ceiling fan.

* All rooms are light and airy, some with private balcony, high ceilings and large arch windows with views of Kensington Gardens and the neighbouring mews.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
