"Reasonably priced and pleasantly surprised"
For the price, this was a well appointed hotel
We stayed in December 2004 in a quad room, which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent.
The front desk staff were very helpful and provided us with a box breakfast on our very early morning departure.
The location of the hotel is a little out of the way, you would have to use transport to many of the tourist attractions such as the Acropolis, Plaka and Monistraki, which are all on the other side of town.
Beware of the taxi drivers, who tend to speed and have seat belts which do not work.
Try to use the metro system for travel, it is excellent and you can buy a day pass for 2.90 Euro. The metro stations are worth a visit themselves as they are like mini museums in their own right.
We would stay at the King Jason hotel again.
Book through the Octopus travel site on the internet - prices are very good.

"Cheap and Cheerful"
I have just spent a couple of days in this hotel. It is clean, airconditioned and fairly priced.
Most important it is contrally located and the metro is within a few hundred metres. The only problem does not lie in the hotel itself, but just outside. From the restaurant the view is of a building site - currently being used as a dump site for building material!! Nonetheless I would definitely stay again at this hotel should i revist Athens again. Good value for money

It is a good choice for 3 star level hotel.
Bed and bathroom are clean and confortable. Price is good however the location is not good for deep night. By the way, the breakfast is good for tourist.
