"Superb location for exploring the Rhine" A fantastic building with wonderful 16th century traditional features (especially the stuffed animal heads hanging from the walls!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, even if their cuisine is a little "unusual" and loved the proximity to the attractions nearby e.g. the chairlift, Rudesheim itself (of course the traditional German Christmas shop!). The room itself was excellent, bed very comfortable with nice views of the Rhine. We had a lovely small balcony which we could sit on and watch the passers by. We discovered their "house" sparkling red which was wonderful, we just wish we'd brought more back with us (we wouldn't however, recommend the generously donated decanter of Asbach!). Overall a fabulous trip with lots of scope for relaxation/activity

"Large, but lovely" We enjoyed our recent stay--the staff was wonderful, very friendly and everywhere! The rooms were fun, comfortable and we had a great view of the Rhine and the castle across the way. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and would definitely stay again. It was a bit bigger than we usually choose---more rooms---but still charming.
