"La Luna Inn's room was quite large"
La Luna Inn's room was quite large, comfortable and well kept.
The location of La Luna worked nicely for us, pretty much anywhere we went, Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, China Town, Pacific Heights, and Castro St, were easily accessible by the Chestnut St (One block North of Lombard) MUNI line, one bus and we were where we wanted to be. The Palace of Fine Arts is a quick walk from La Luna and a great place to spend an afternoon. The Marina is also a few short blocks away and was a great place to spend down time and people watch. There are also a number of restaurants, bars, and stores located on Lombard, Chestnut and other surrounding streets.

La Luna Inn is very clean, new and confortable acommodations. There is too much noise from the street.

"Clean, Tidy and Central."
We had a great stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our first visit to America and our first Port of call. We found it to be Clean, Tidy and central to Fisherman's Wharf. Accomodation was a great price and even though it is situated on a very busy street, it was not that noisy. We slept well, and that was all that matters when you are only in your room to sleep and shower.

"What a find!"
It was the night before New Years Eve and we still hadn't booked a hotel in SF. I was surfing around, and the best rate I could find anywhere was $269...I realise that it was NYE, but that was not the price I felt like paying. Found this place ,and thought we'd give it a try.
We couldn't fault it if we tried. The service/reception were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 318: a huge California King pillowtop bed, immaculately clean, cute toiletries in the bathroom, modern design and furniture, great location in the Marina, and the room was really big. Obviously it's not the Four Seasons, but if you aren't looking for uber-luxury but are picky about cleanliness, this place is a gem especially for the price. We were pleasantly surpirsed, and will definitely stay again.
