"All rooms are suites, huge pool, and good breakfast"
I stayed one night in early October 2004. The suite was large, clean, neat, and odor-free. The indoor pool is huge (with an 8 ft deep section!) compared to other hotels, and an entertainment room included 2 table tennis tables, an indoor play area for the kids (with Little Tikes equipment to play on), a game room for the older kids, and a large central bar area for the adults (to rest while watching the kids). All this for a very low corporate rate (way less than $100).
The Texas Roadhouse next door had surprisingly good food (and I'm not a fan of this type of chain restaurant). There's also a movie theater just a short jog behind the hotel, and a large indoor shopping mall is just maybe a half mile away.
All in all, you can't go wrong, and I will stay here again when I'm back in the area.

"perfect!"
I got a great rate on Priceline ($50, including tax) and it was a very comfortable and brand new room. The bed was so comfortable, I tried to find the brand! We didn't stay for the breakfast. The staff was super friendly - it was a lovely though short stay.

"Wonderful stay at the Woodfield Suites!"
We were in Wisconsin to see a Packers game and after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor decided to stay at the Woodfield Suites in Appleton. We were very glad that we did! We had a wonderful stay. Like the previous reviewers, we found the Suites to be clean, comfortable and large. We went to the Happy Hour on the night of our arrival and met some terrific people. We played some gin, ate the fresh popcorn and had a couple of cocktails. Lots of fun. We then just walked down an inside corridor and had dinner at Appleby's. There are lots of dining options in the nearby area. The next morning we went down to the free breakfast. There were breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, hardboiled eggs, toast, and more. Our favorite item was the fresh waffles! The coffee and juice were good, too. Really, it was a nice breakfast.
It was an easy drive to Green Bay, about a half an hour (allow more time if you are going to or from a game). If you like the Packers or football in general, try to get to a game. It was an incredible experience. The pride and sportmanship of the fans were tremendous. We have been to professional sports games in other areas of the country and found Green Bay to be in a class by itself. At other playing fields many fans were loud, crude, obnoxious people (many drunk), very poor sports, we'd feel sorry for anyone who supported the rival teams. We also felt sorry for ourselves for having to sit near these foulmouths. NOT SO IN GREEN BAY!! Great fans. It is the only place that I would bring a child or anyone under 21 to see a game. Fans were actually there to watch football! The tour of Lambeau field and the Packers Hall of Fame were both very interesting. We had a good time watching the tailgaters. Since we were in a rental car, we decided not to tailgate ourselves, though you could if you were so inclined. There were lots of entertainment possibilities, tailgate parties at nearby bars and such, that were also available.
At the Woodfield Suites we found a number of Packer fans and also folks staying there to see the opposing team. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
Whatever your reason is to be in the Appleton area, the Woodfield Suites was a great place to stay and we will seek out other Woodfield Suites wherever it is an option!
