"Could not have expected anything more"
My husband and I stayed at the Warwick Reine Astrid Hotel in Lyon, France last July, and I have to say, we haven't stopped talking about it since! The suite, if you can call it that, was the size of an apartment. There was a full kitchen with a small dinette table, all appliances necessary. A large living room with all the comforts of home, a separate toilet room from the bathroom which was also a decent size. The bedroom was impressive as well with beautiful tapestries and a full Cable TV, internet port, and writing desk. The comfort didn't stop there, though. We arrived late into Lyon (we were chasing le Tour de France) and the restaurant was technically closed, but we had the most gracious and accomodating waiter we could have imagined. He made us feel very welcome and took his time to explain the dishes in English as our French leaves alot to be desired. The meal was exquisite, with a seemingly unending array of succulent dishes expertly prepared and beautifully laid out. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, even when there was a slight problem with Travelocity's voucher and we had to make a few calls. They were ever patient and understanding. By the way, the rack rate for the suite was around $329 Euro, we stole it for $77 US on Travelocity. I could not believe it! We did not have a chance to check out their amenities (too busy pretending we lived in the 'apartment') but would not expect them to be anything but magnificent. I distinctly remember everything shining, literally, from cleanliness. Can't wait to go back!

"Great place to stay"
We stayed there with our 2 years old daughter and friends with 2 kids. The romms are real suites, with kitchen and all amenities. The satff really nice and the dishes very good at the restaurant (don't miss the cheesecake!). Definitely recommend it if you are in Lyon. Just that is a little off the heart of the city.
