"Clean,Safe and excellent place to stay before/after your long flight"
I stayed here after spending 3 nights in La Guardia airport because of the snow and this was when most hotels had put there rates up to at least $290.00 per night to take advantage of the weather,I only stayed here for 1 night but the service was very good.I didnt bother to take the free shuttle to the hotel on arrival I decided to walk the 5 min walk from the airport terminal to the hotel which is convinient.The room was in very good condition with a large comfortable double bed and clean and comfy sheets and a tv with around 70 cable channels. There was also a well decorated desk/work area which I used my laptop on and wireless internet available for a surcharge. The dining at the hotel is good too although I only had a late snack in the hotel resturant so I dont know about the rest of the selections but it is located in the lobby so its handy and there is also a bar to relax and have a drink at too and drinks and vending machines on odd floors.Dont worry about having to carry luggage as the front desk are willing to help and there is elevators leading to all floors.The free shuttle will bring you too and from the airport when needed and the first one is at 4.45am but an earlier one can be arranged on request. I would'nt recommend this location to someone who is looking for somewhere to stay while visiting NYC itself as its around $35.00 each way to get there from the hotel so you may as well find somewhere closer but the hotel itself suited my needs as I just needed somewhere to rest up after 3 nights in the airport before my flight left again when things got back to normal.One tip though,if you dont fancy the hotel food your only other option on dining within walking distance is to eat at the airport terminal or order takeout because there is nothing around there,no shops,no food or anything else.So overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean,safe and at $119.00 per night plus tax a pretty good deal for a comfortable location right next to your airport to rest you for your flight without the noise or for anyone looking for a place to stay in the queens/long island area.
