"I thought this place was fabulous!"
My friend and I stayed at the Lakeside for the New Year Package - 4 nights including meals - I thought the hotel was absolutely top class and the food couldn't be faulted. There was something different on the menu every evening and even the breakfasts differed from day to day. The entertainment was good and I should mention the staff in particular were really very sweet and sincere. The room we shared was quite big, though not with a lake view - a little more expensive - and spotlessly clean! A couple of nice touches were a "gin sling" each, delivered to our room on the first night, as we were getting ready for dinner - totally unexpected. Also a little card showing the weather for the next day was delivered each night, along with the opportunity of having your bed turned down, if you so wished. All in all a fabulous experience - I would highly recommend it.

"Superb Hotel / Great Staff"
Have just returned from a break at the Lakeside Hotel and can just say the place was just fantastic.From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful,our room was round the front of the hotel overlooking the road it was very clean and large enough for the both of us to unwind. We dined in the John Ruskin and both the food and service was second to none...you must try the sticky toffee pudding. The weather when we were there was lovely and walks to the near by villages were just breathtaking. I will be going back later in the year when the hotel is fully booked and this will be a real test of how good the lakeside is, but if the service is anywhere near as good as we have just experienced then the place is worthy of 5 stars !!..Roll on September

"Superb Weekend"
Just spent a great weekend here everything was perfect about the hotel including the staff We ate in the lakeside restaurant and the food was amazing!!!!! Cant wait to go there again,expensive but worth every penny.
