"Fabulous Suite"
I stayed here on the 2 nights following my wedding in June 2005. We booked Langs Suite which is the most expensive room they have but worth every penny. It was a split level suite with the bedroom area on the top level. Downstairs had a large comfortable corner sofa sitting area, tv, playstation etc. and then a table and chairs. Also had a large dressing table area and a lovely bathroom. I enjoyed lazing in bed and watching the shoppers walking down the street which you could see through the massive full length windows. We didn't eat in the restaurants but room service was excellent as was breakfast. The hotel is ideally located in the City centre, close to all the shops, restaurants and bars and the bus and train stations and taxi ranks. i couldn't fault anything apart from the fact the room was too hot. The heating had automatically been on full when we arrived and can only be turned down through reception. They did turn it down but it remained very warm.I would recommend langs suite for any special occasion.

I stayed in Langs in a standard room and it was Lush I don't understand the negative comments about the place I couldn't fault a thing!! My room was recently refurbished with big posh curtains and gorgeous decor the bathrooms are massive, the shower is great especially with a hangover and the bed is huge too!! They have a great breakfast selection, the best I've had in a hotel! To top it all off the staff are very attentive and friendly not like other places.....its a must if visiting Glasgow for a night, or weekend! |
