"Great breakfast...."
The location is terrific, within walking distance of most of the attractions in the middle of Paris. I stayed two times and thought that the rooms could do with repainting, however the bed linen was clean and the bathrooms are good. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast each day, it is nice to have breakfast in the hotel where you stay without having to look elsewhere. The gentleman attending the breakfast room was exceptional. Staff very friendly and wanted to help. If you land at CDG airport, take the Roissybus direct to the Opera, the hotel is 5 minutes walk. Obtain directions from the hotel first to avoid getting lost. I would use this hotel again, and the prices are reasonable for the centre of Paris.

"Excellent, Clean, Lovely Little Hotel"
We have just returned from a long weekend at the Hotel Lautrec Opera in Paris. The hotel is in a perfect location (Opera District) and are no further than 10 - 15 minute walk from must major attractions in the centre of Paris. The main shopping region of Paris is a within a 5 minute walk of this hotel and excellent restuarants surround the hotel.
Although the rooms may be small, everything was clean (with daily maid service) and provided a very nice contential breakfast. The hotel staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help. The room we had came with double bed, wardrobe, satalite TV, clean bathroom and each room has the bonus of their own safety deposit box. Altough the rooms may be small, it has everything needed and if you are anything like ourselfs - you are basically out all day enjoying paris and only use the hotel to drop off shopping and sleep! Also it is nice to have breakfast in the hotel where you stay without having to look elsewhere.
If you land at CDG airport, take the metro train to Chatelet Les Halles station and transfer subway to the Opera station. This is easily done if you follow the directions given and safe. The hotel is 5 minute walk from this station and easily found. Also the if planning a day to Disneyland then the station Auber (behind Opera House) takes you directly there and is 2 minutes from the hotel. Also I would advise getting the tour bus of Paris, in which you revieve 2 days consequitive travel and buses run from 09:00 to around 19:00. You can jump on and off as many times and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the next bus to arrive to take you to the next attraction.
We would recommend this hotel to everyone and we would stay there again. Obtain directions from the hotel first to avoid getting lost (just google the hotel name and check out the offical hotel website).
A small tip is to pick up as many maps and information booklets as possible, as you find discount vouchers for sightseeing tours and major depatment stores inside.

"great location"
Located in the Opera District, this is a lovely little hotel in a charming location. Although they serve a decent (but fixed buffet) breakfast daily, there is a lovely pastry shop around the corner and a few doors away and around the corner is another breakfast and lunch shop, Ekki, that has food to go (importe). With the minibar in the room, you can store a variety of juices, fruit, yogurt, etc that you might want to give yourself a variety in your breakfast. There was no bathtub in my room (narrow shower only), and it was small as expected, but the window balcony was cute, and the hotel was clean. The lighting for the bathroom was also excellent for getting ready. In addition, the front desk staff were rather helpful if need be and the maids were very nice. There is a computer and printer with internet service available in the lobby for a credit card swipe fee, but there is also a 24-hour internet place around the corner that is even cheaper!
The Richelieu-Druot Metro stop for 2 different lines was around the corner in front of all the shops/cafes I have mentioned and the Opera stop was only a few blocks away. It was a fabulously safe location - I walked home many nights after 10pm in the dark and I never felt unsafe.
I'm posting pictures, but they are of the nearby attractions, so please look at the hotel's website for actual hotel photos as they are accurate. The rooms were just as their website showed.
All in all, it was a very reasonable place to stay!!! (I picked it out as part of the hotel choices in a Continental Vacations package.)
