"Nice restaurants around Le Meridien Etoile Hotel"
Le Meridien Etoile Hotel's location was perfect as the airport bus stop was right infront of the hotel, so it was very convenient. Metro station was 1 min away from the hotel. Nice restaurants around Le Meridien Etoile Hotel, so finding good food was not a problem. Roooms were a bit small. Hotel service was excellent.

"location of the hotel was excellent"
Le Meridien Etoile Hotel's breakfast was available only in rooms and was pretty expensive. However, the location of the hotel was excellent, just few metres away from the metro station and 10-minutes walk from Arc.

"Great Hotel, Superb Location!"
Arrived way too early in the morning and had to wait about 3 hours before I could check-n, but that was largely fine as the hotel stands in a pretty centralised location and sights are abundant all around.
The room was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the turn-down service was, by and large, punctual and pleasant. The mini fridge is well-stocked, but do be forewarned that if you are not interested in any of the items, do nto even touch it as the items are tracked by electronic sensors! You are also able to view real-time all your bills via the TV, and even place you order for room service through the TV.
The staff are generally friendly, but being typical French, you might just find them abit aloof.
A large shopping mall just across the road ensures plenty of conveniences. There are also many chic restaurants and cafes just beside the hotel, and if you don't mind the walk, Arc de Triomphe and Champes Elysees are just about 15-20 minutes away. You could also find a Metro entrance just 5 minutes away from the hotel, which maks it very easy to move around the city.
Would certainly recommend the hotel for all travellers, especially given its superb location!

"A Great Base"
After reading some of the reviews I was really worried about staying at this hotel - totally unwarranted as it turned out!
The location is brilliant, only a 10 minute walk up the Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and about 25 to the Eiffel Tower.
We didn't spend too much time in the hotel but the Classic room was a good size, more than comfortable and was very clean.
We didn't eat at the hotel or even visit the bar as we tended to be out all day, not returning until later on in the evening; but there are plenty of restaurants close by and the prices aren't too bad - we paid about 80 euros for a 3 course meal for 2 people including wine and a couple of bottles of water.
All in all, it doesn't have the character of some of the older properties in Paris but it's a really good standard hotel and I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

"Excellent Deal!"
This hotel has an excellent location and service. When I had the deal I was concerned with the previous reviews but the experience was excellent.

"a good choice"
This is one of the largest hotels in Paris - about 1,000 rooms so the lobby area is always quite busy, even later in the evening.
Rooms seemed to be small but furnished with all the amenities you would expect to need for a short stay. Most importantly everything seemed to be clean.
Breakfast at the hotel was a disappointment. Served in the Jazz Club on the ground floor, the ambience is rather like taking breakfast in an airport lounge. After the first morning we resorted to taking breakfast outside the hotel.
The hotel is very well located for traveling arounf Paris. The Porte Maillot Metro station is less than five minutes away on foot, and is served by the marvellous 'line 1' which cuts across central Paris and takes in some of the major sights.

"We loved it!"
My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The concierge couldn't have been better. Also turn down service every night was lovely. We live in NYC and found the room to be quite spacious for what we were expecting. Close to the RER, Metro, a taxi stand stand right out front, Air France office across the street, as well as an Air France bus stop across the street. The mall across the street has a grocery store and a pharmacy to meet all of your needs. Our favorite part was the bathroom, it was HUGE and the bathtub is full-sized with a lean back tub. We would definitly consider staying there on our next trip.

"great care"
We booked our holiday via Eurostar. The customer service at the hotel was 5 star. Our concierge was able to give great advice about places to jog/run. Check in and check out was easy and fast with staff who were friendly and willing to engage with an intermediate french speaking guest.
Our room was comfortable. We would love to stay again. Despite the wet weather over the New Year we felt warm, and comfortable inside the terrific hotel. We stayed for 3 nights into the new year of 2007.

"Very nice stay"
Spent three very good nights at this hotel recently. It's located near neighborhood shops if you need to run out and buy a few extras you forgot at home. It's a ten-minute walk to Champs Ellyse. The breakfast is quiet good -- lots of choices. And I found that the staff were all very helpful and courteous. The concierge desk offered excellent suggestions for restaurants. The only odd thing was that a friend had suggested I eat at Le Comptoir, as it's one of the hotter foodie stops in Paris just now. However the guys at the concierge desk insisted that it didn't exist and when I produced a phone number they called and said the number was disconnected. I'm pretty certain that's not the case. Even so, the places they directed us to were fabulous. Someone else on this forum was complaining about not getting an iron. When I called at nearly 11 pm for an iron I got one almost immediately. Oh well. Anyway, I'd stay at this hotel again. The price is right. Good location, lots of plusses, etc.
