"location was great"
Le Meridien Montparnasse Hotel's location was great. The Air France bus from Charles De Gaulle literally drops you off on the other side of the street from the hotel and the train station (Gare De Montparnasse) is right there also.
The only negative was the fitness room in the hotel where only two of the five machines worked. There was no pool but very few European hotels have the room for this.

Le Meridien Montparnasse Hotel was nice, the lobby was great. The room espacially the bathroom was a letdown. We were disappointed. The worst thing was that we had a problem with alle the water gathering all over the bath floor after a shower.

"Nice Stay"
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in December and it was a good experience. When we checked in, I was expecting the staff to be rude after reading these reviews, but they were very friendly and helpful.
The room was a decent size for Europe and it was extremely clean with a comfortable bed and sheets. We must have had one of the remodeled rooms, because the room and the bathroom were very nice ( nothing like the orange bathroom in the pictures).
The hotel is close to the bus/train station which was very convenient, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
We only ordered room service once because the food was somewhat expensive and was just average.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend staying here.

"Would Stay Here Again!"
Convenient location, close to subways, 5 minute walk to Champs Elysees. Clean, new, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds. Price was fabulous for a Paris hotel, but we booked it through either Priceline or Hotwire (can't remember which) and paid $120 USD. Can't beat that. I would stay here again in a minute.

"Very nice hotel, great location"
We just spent four nights at this four star hotel and had a very nice
time. Very large room (by European standards), nice view, two large double beds, terrific location, polite staff, excellent service all around.
We didn´t eat in the hotel but there are so many dining options within walking distance that you can find better value. I don´t understand all of the negative comments - this hotel is just fine for the money (you are in Paris, folks....everything´s expensive).
Based upon our experience, I have no problems whatsoever recommending
this hotel to others.

"Easy to reach, nice rooms, french food"
Easy to reach with Air France airport shuttle (stops directly at the hotel), the LeMerien is a very good hotel for conferences. The room are spacious, the food in the restaurant on the second floor is very elegant in French style.

"Happy memories of Paris"
Just returned from a 5 day stay at the hotel, from the moment we arrived we met with very friendly and polite staff. We stayed in a standard room which was bright,very clean and spacious.It had t.v, safe,clothes press and mini bar. The room was very much to our satisfaction. The location of the hotel was ideal. Very near metro, main train station and bus transfers from airports. The buffet breakfast was excellent and again we were met with very pleasant staff. Plenty of good resturants within walking distance of hotel. Would return to this hotel on any future visits to paris.

"Loved it good deal by phone"
Rang the hotel booking directly for rates managed to get alsmot 50% off for an executive room. abt Euro 220. Booking staff was very friendly !
Booked on behalf of parents as it was Mums Bday. Read the reviews and was extreamlly worried after that.So since she had a fab time I must let everyone out there know.
They loved the room it was big and spacious. Hotel even gave a wee sweet tin thing as it was a bday. Breakfast was fab according to her! They had a great time thank you Le Meridien Montparnasse.
