"fa-beu-luss" We had a great time in chamonix and a big reason was le prieure. Huge clean two room suite, quiet, good restaurant (there was a piano) short walk from the bars, friendly staff, and hands down the best view from a hotel-room balcony I have ever had. You walk on to the balcony and BAM! there's Mt.Blanc. The view absolutely takes your breath away. I would highly recommend it

"fantastic view" every balcony faces Mont Blanc, arrived at night opened the curtain in the morning and there it was in all its glory. A fantastic location and the wonderful staff make this an excellent choice of hotel to stop in Chamonix. Cannot wait to return next year. Cham bus stop (ski bus to all pistes) is only a short walk. aguille du midi cable car just down the road, what more could you ask for!! Even has sauna, hot tub and steam room for apres ski rejuvination followed by restaurant and bar. Not cheap but where is in Chamonix and it is 3*

"Wonderful Hotel" I have just returned from this hotel and can't wait to go back as I found everything to be perfect from the friendly, courteous receptionists, lovely room with superb view of Mont Blanc and excellent evening meals served by lovely staff. I was made to feel most welcome which is quite unusual in many hotels. Contrary to an earlier tripadvisor report, I did not find the bed unduly hard and the pillows were soft. I booked this holiday with Inghams and Emma, their resort rep was most helpful with suggesting things to do as a couple of the excursions were cancelled. When I return, I shall go a little later in the season when everything is open - I went first week of the summer season.
