"Great Boutique Hotel!"
Me and my fiance' at the time booked ourselves in to the hotel for the New Years weekend. We were very pleased, the hotel lobby has a very European feel, the front desk let us check in early and the staff was great. When we got to our room we were very pleased, the bed was very comfortable and we had a split suite room, very big and clean. Furniture was in very good condition, air conditioning worked great.
Great area for being in the middle of everything in downtown Vancouver. Maid service was prompt and the hotel was very quiet for sleeping. The windows had the best shades and curtians for keeping out the sun and light. Overall I would book with this hotel again and again.

"Simply special."
Just back from 3 weeks in Canada.
Stayed at several 5 star hotels but found this boutique hotel to be a real find. The room was stunning and the decor throughout the hotel was lovely. Reception was particularly helpful and polite and the food in the restaurant next door was very good and reasonable for the quality provided. We found wine a little expensive but this was common throughout the holiday.
Location for eating and shopping in Downtown Vancouver was excellent. Not the cheapest but among the best we stayed in.
You will not be disappointed.

"A Beautiful Escape"
This small hotel in downtown Vancouver really impressed me. I had just spent three nights at the Fairmont in Whistler, so it was going to take a lot to impress me after that. Well, this place certainly did.
I found that the staff at this hotel, the front desk, room service, and cleaning staff to be extremely good. The hotel is very centrally located in downtown so you can basically do your shopping and walk along the boardwalk by the ocean very easily.
We had a junior suite, which was actually a pretty good size. I believe true to it's French roots, the room is almost European style. So that means that it's large by European standards, but maybe a little small by North American standards. However, it was definitely large enough for me and my wife and it was designed very well.
Room service was very prompt and breakfast was very good, too, which was brought to us by two very professional and very sweet Asian gentlemen.
What I found very impressive with the room service staff was that when they would give me the invoice to sign for the service, they walked to the front door and waited for me there. They weren't looking at me while I was trying to figure out how much of a tip I should leave, which I'm not very good at math so when someone is staring at me while I'm figuring out things, it's a little nerve-wracking. Anyway, that's the first time I've ever seen that done and I applaud whoever trained the staff to do that because it shows me that they think about little things like that. That just shows you that this small hotel tries to do the little things right, which is very important when competing with larger hotels in a similar category.
Anyway, you cannot go wrong with this hotel, it's very French, of course, so linens and soaps and colors of the rooms are all very nicely decorated. Also, Vancouver is an expensive city, so I felt that the rates at this hotel were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this fine boutique hotel!

perfect location
Le Soleil Hotel is perfectly located for all the attractions of Vancouver. The staff are very friendly, curteous and helpful. Our room was a twin suite with every amenity you could wish for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A gem in the heart of the city
A reasonably priced four star hotel, worthy of its stars, this hotel was most welcoming, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable, and the location excellent for downtown shopping, fine restaurants and the waterfront. Underground valet parking and the small restaurant attached are convenient amenities |

Hotel Soleil is great
Nice boutique hotel with lots of charm. It is centrally located in downtown, with much of Vancouver’s business district and nightlife within walking distance. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
