"clean and quiet enough"
Leopold Hotel location of the hotel is pretty good and the nearby Metro is quite efficient.
The hotel itself was nothing special given its 4 star rating, but it was clean and quiet enough.
We had a few problems with the breakfast staff forgetting orders for tea, not refilling hot food, and allocating us a table only to reallocate it to someoe else while we were getting our food. The hot food was average and ran out quite quickly.
The restaurant, was quite nice although they seemed to be short on staff on our visit. If you can get a good deal for this place then its ok.

"Leopold Hotel was excellent "
Leopold Hotel was excellent with lovely clean facilities and dining rooms, friendly helpful staff but although we didn't dine in the main restaurant, we did try two meals in the Brasserie and were frankly disappointed with the standard of food considering it is a 4 star establishment. The main restaurant has rather limited opening hours so I assume the Brasserie is the only option for many guests on short breaks. |

"Simply loved it"
This hotel was simply great. Reached there at midnight, wet and hungry. Staff even offered to cook me a meal even when everywhere was closed. The location was great, right in the centre of everything. Will definately recommand that place and i'm looking forward to returning there.

It is highly justified for this hotel to be classed as a 4*.I have never stayed in any hotel as clean before,it was absolutely spotless! & in a very quiet location-situlated nearest to the EU buildings.The buses stop near enough right outside the hotel.The Metro (Trone), is about five minutes walk away-indeed a very pleasant walk,as on each side of the road are two small parks.It is also very near to the royal palace.Back to the hotel however!,the hotel receptionists are very welcoming & knowledgable.I travelled as a "single traveller" & am sometimes used to the rooms being quite cramped-however the room was more than adequate,my room was cleaned every day & was totally spotless,the room as well had air conditioning.
Breakfasts were superb, such a vast range off food-always plentiful & extremely pleasant waiters, the breakfasts are served in the "italian terrace",were meals at night are served too.
I stayed in Brussels for seven nights,maybe too long?,although through the summer you do have the opportunity to walk round the "Royal palace" & to see the centre of the "Grand place" covered in flowers,which was beautiful!. So in summary, i highly recommend a stay in the Hotel leopold,a charming hotel-in maybe the best part of Brussels?. I myself would have no doubts in staying there again.
