"A nice week at les Aiglons in March 2005" Me and my husband have just returned from a one week ski vacation in Chamonix were we stayed at hotel Les Aiglons from 12th of March until 19th of March. We are very satisfied with our stay at this hotel! Since we travel a lot, and my husband in his youth worked several years at a Sheraton hotel, I think I can say that we know what we speak of.... The hotel is excellent for a ski vacation, situated close to the bus station Chamonix Sud so that you can easily reach any of the lift systems. The rooms are not enormous big (but since your are outdoors all day who needs a suite...), but very niced furnished and clean. In fact, this was one of the most positive things that the staff kept the room in such a nice condition and regularly changed sheets and towels. Also, the pool at fitness rooms with three (!) saunas were in excellent clean and nice conditions. The staff were very friendly and made arrangements after your request without problems. For example, this week I had my 40th bithday and my family in Sweden had as a surprise ordered a bunch of roses and a bottle of champagne . All this was arranged by the staff, so that when we arrived the roses and the bottle (on ice...) was in our room. We can warmly recommend anybody considering a stay at les Aiglons to do so!

"Luxury Ski Hotel, perfect location" We stayed at Les Aiglons in Chamonix over Christmas 2005. We booked through Chrystal Ski, and as we normally travel independant, we were very pleased with the hotel. It is perfectly situated, 5 mins walk from town, 2 mins from the Aguille du Midi lift, across the road from the ski buses to all areas, and to crown all that our room had a balcony looking straight up to fabulous views of Mont Blonc and Aguille du Midi. The Hotel and rooms are immaculate, staff are friendly and helpfull (perhaps a little overworked in the dining room at times!). We will definately return, not often you get this luxury and space in a ski hotel.
