LOCATION

Right outside Lia Fjellhotell, there are miles of prepared ski trails, which take you into the fantastic winter wonderland and snowy wilderness. Also right outside the hotel, there is a family friendly ski centre, which offers downhill skiing and tobogganing. The 750 metres long ski lift leads to three runs, totalling 2.8 kilometers, that descend over 160 metres. Li Ski Centre offers hiring out slalom skis, snowboards, cross-country skis, snowshoes and sledges. The toboggan downhill run is 700 metres long.

For groups, Lia Fjellhotell can arrange teambuilding where dogsledding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and snowshoe tours are popular activities. In summer and autumn, and winter as well, Lia Fjellhotell can arrange other exciting events, such as axe throwing, lassoing, archery and rifle shooting, in old original mountain dairy farm.

Also tradition rich norwegian lunch may be served there, in old timber log cabins with old traditional seating and fire pits. Once King Winter has loosened his grip, summer soon arrives at Lia Fjellhotell. The Skurdalen valley and the Hardangervidda national park, are perfect for mountain hiking and mountain biking, where the silent wilderness and clear, fresh air is a good medicine for body and soul.
