This is a very central hotel. Just minutes from Taksim Square and all that this area has to offer...

Allstar Lion Hotel is great and you are within a short stroll of all the nightlife, entertainment and shops that Taksim is famous for.

It’s a purpose built hotel and has a 4* rating according to the local hotel rating system. For summer visits to the city, the hotel benefits from an open air swimming pool
LOCATION

The nearest metro station is Taksim which is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

You will also find buses and the tourist open top bus next to the metro station in Taksim square. In the same area you will find the local HAVAS but that runs regularly between Taksim and Ataturk airport which is 45 minutes away by bus. The location really can’t be beat and you can travel easily to any part of the city from here.

"wireless Internet "
Lion Hotel is conveniently located - close to Taksim Square and on a quiet street. Breakfast - choice of ham and cheese, eggs, potatoes, olives, cereal, yogurt, freshly baked bread/rolls, and tomato/cucumber salad. The feature I enjoyed most was reliable and free wireless Internet connection in the lobby.

Lion Hotel is 2-3mins walk from Taksim Square Metro and buses and of course Istiklal Caddesi. Lion and Golden age hotels share common 1st and ground floors. The best part about this hotel was the very good buffet breakfast selection in the mornings. The hotel seems to suit families as well as other travellers. The only complaint that I have with the hotel is that the reception staff prefer to talk amongst themselves instead of serve customers at the desk; but don't let this put you off staying here.
